SECOND REVIEW: I had to change my rating from 5 to 3 stars. The waitress was rude and the lasagna chicken spaghetti was repulsive. We were there on 2/15/19 at 8:30. I wish I knew our waitress' name! She was not friendly and had an attitude like she had somewhere better to be. As for the food, the only thing that saved this review was the dijon salmon. For that I will be back. But I had to watch my boyfriend gag during dinner because he is against telling the staff that their spaghetti tasted worse than canned spaghetti and that their lasagna was very overcooked. I had a bite and it was all mush. The flavor of the sauce resembled that of an off brand "chef boy r d" sauce. I watched him peel the breading off the chicken. This man will eat anything and pretend it's delicious and I have never seen him act this way. His eyes welled up it was awful. Damn his pride. He ate all the spaghetti and chicken but couldn't eat the lasagna. He had 1 bite and I had 1 bite. Even through the gagging of canned spaghetti eating, he STILL couldn't stomach the lasagna! The manager never came to check on us but if they did, I wouldn't have said anything because my boyfriend told me not to. I threatened to tell someone 3 times but he hates that kinda thing. We didn't get dessert because the waitress cleared the entire table before we got our check. We'll be back but we live over an hour away so it won't be for a while. FIRST REVIEW: A very nice place to visit. Our server, Jeff, was kind and funny. You can tell the staff actually care about the happiness of the customers. Everyone was in a really good mood. The manager came over to speak with us and made sure everything was ok and joked around a little. Was a good time and great experience. Very down to earth, not stuck up at all. The food was really good too. Smaller portions than what we're not used to but you'll have that in a fancy restaurant. I know my dinner partner was not used to it because he horked the whole plate down in no time flat. I raised an eyebrow but chuckled anyway. Prices aren't bad either. We both had some form of salmon, the bread they give and the cheesecake dessert for under $60. We didn't drink alcohol though. That'll make your price go up.

We ventured out during 2020 Thanksgiving weekend and stopped at one of our favorite locations: Biaggi's. We've been here many times over the last few years and due to the distance (an hour drive) and cost, we generally come here only for special occasions and not for regular dining. Regardless, the cost is easily justifiable for special occasions and this time was no exception. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is competent and friendly and we really like the menu items. On our last visit there were four of us, and we had an order of Chicken Piccante, 2 orders of Sea Scallop Risotto, and a Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Milano Entrée Salad. The variety of bread with oil & spices is always a great way to kick off dinner, and all our dinners were great. Pictured: Sea Scallop Risotto and the Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Milano Salad. I ordered the salad and it was a welcome change-up from the pasta I've ordered multiple times. Since this is a review, I will say that the chicken was slightly more dry than I expected but not too dry and they don't have a 4.5 star rating so I had to round up based on everyone else's food and the overall experience. We're pretty frugal so when we do go out for a nice meal, we have pretty high expectations. This place is fancy enough to fit the special occasion category, but not too uptight that we feel out of place, and worth the money in that light. The bottom line: I've written my review after several visits, and never been disappointed (including my chicken, in an otherwise 5 star visit) and so I recommend it as such. I'm sure it won't be too long before we find another special occasion to celebrate and head out to Biaggi's.

I wish I could give it 5 stars because the food is excellent but there were a few issues. We had a reservation and still waited a bit for the table (even though there were lots of tables available) and it seems like we waited longer than normal for drinks and the desserts (despite the place being almost empty by the time we got desserts). My biggest complaint was the NOISE! It was a Tuesday night and the place wasn't even full and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other very well. We were trying to celebrate a birthday and conversation was difficult. I understand the bar can be quieter but we had a minor in our group. I would highly recommend the Lobster Corn Chowder - it was phenomenal! They had Chilean Sea Bass on special with garlic smashed potatoes that was very good. not a lot of places in FW have sea bass anymore. I wish I could say the desserts were excellent considering we waited awhile for them and they were kinda pricey but I can't. *Photos are of 3 out of the 6 meals and desserts from our meal. Edit: March 2025 the chicken on my salad was so hard it was difficult to eat

When I was greeted and seated at my table that went as regular as that interaction could go. It was when my assigned server came to the table where it went downhill. The server comes with low energy and bad vibes giving he was just ready to clock out. He did not have warm energy even when we were smiling towards him and everything. He took forever to come back to take our orders. When we finally got our food it was not Italian at all and gave very much American. It was not worth the money at all, the only thing that was good was the bread. When the server walked passed he told me he would get me a refill on my water, fifteen minutes went past and still no refill. He brung the checks and I asked for my refill again. He came back to the table and asked if we needed to go boxes we said yes and more bread and I asked for my refill again. He came back with our change and cards, the one to go box, but no bread and still didn’t refill my water even though he was walking around with a pitcher refilling other customers waters. After another ten minutes he finally refilled my water and brung the bread. He ended up charging my table for my meal and drink and not their correct orders and drinks. I was already disappointed in his customer service and I hate to play the race card but he was more focused on serving the non black people that he kept ignoring us even though he had to walk past our table. And once a large table of white people came in he ran to be there server and was smiling and gave them way better customer service and that rubbed me the wrong way especially with him being African American. 0/10 I would not...
