2 year update * omg this place is a hot mess at night. I just before 30 minutes till close. When I pull up to the drive through the lady explained what they have left. I ask if that’s all? And if they could make anything else. They said yes but it would be a 10 minute wait or longer. No problem I’m in no hurry. So I pull up wait, get my food. And instantly realized I didn’t have my drink. I did a u turn and was back in no kidding-30 seconds. By now there’s like a 12 car pile up, they locked the front doors- do I wait 30+ minutes to get my drink? That’s crazy so I tried knocking on the door and glass to get their attention and make a motion with my hands “drink” like I’m drinking something. The lady inside looks at me and shakes her head no, and motions me to go to the drive through… I think she’s not understanding me because I just want the drink I paid for. But she continues shaking her head and telling me to go to the drive through. I’m just standing there baffled at how rude that is. I just left because the drive through is down the parking lot. More I have to call corporate to get a refund, and I’m just going to complain while I’m at it. I didn’t even care they had less than half the menu to begin, I don’t even know Horan they were going to feed all those other prime in line with nothing left cooked.
Overall just average, I've been to better pandas. The food is never fresh or hot. And I come every other week. I always go through the drive through because I expect faster service, everytime I'm disappointed. They're usually pretty friendly but this has been the 2 year most backed up they have been. I don't think it's a shortage because there's about a dozen employees. I will have to avoid this place for a while until they figure this out, I'm trying to get home quick after a long day of work. Going on over 15 minutes, and I'm 4 cars away from the speaker, and several more...
Read moreMy kids and I had planned to meet my parents at this establishment, but my four-year-old does not like the spicy food there, so we stopped and got him a tiny sandwich and chips from Jimmy John’s before arriving at panda express. We were getting settled at a table, setting out his sandwich and were approached by an employee who said that we couldn’t have outside food in the restaurant. we asked even for the small child? We are going to all order food… There were six more of us. She said she would ask her manager, who is the one who sent her to confront us. I got up to the front of the line to order food and the manager passive aggressively asked the other employee did you tell them? And she said yes. And she said, what did they say? I was standing right in front of her so I told her we threw away all of the Jimmy John’s branded bags and papers so he only had the tiny sandwich. I told her all the rest of us would be eating food here placing an order. She said well it’s all our policy that we can’t bring outside food in. I said I understand that, but what are we supposed to do go outside and eat in the sweltering heat? She said yes if you could do that that be great. And I was like well I’m not gonna have my Children and my older parents eat outside in the heat. Would you rather a lose business? Because if you can’t eat here inside, then we’re going to leave and she said that’s fine so we left. We went across the street to Chick-fil-A where we were welcomed with open arms. My son brought in his sandwich and his chips and the kind woman who works the table area. I brought over a little placemat for him to put his non-Chick-fil-A food on and nobody said anything about us having different food there. Thank you Chick-fil-A, the customer is always right, they made a big sale on our...
Read moreUpdate Review Recently we went here for a BOGO bowel promotion with the chili shrimp bowl. I would say that they have improved their speed of service. We had arrived and the online orders were ready behind the cashier. Unfortunately the food was tasteless and small in portion. They gave a total of 6 shrimp for the bowl. There was absolutely no flavor to the chili shrimp or noodles. It is as if someone had forget to add salt for seasoning. Even though it was tasteless, I would prefer this to being over salted. It's sad how this location misses the target with all the 1 star reviews.
Restaurant review I don't understand how Panda Express in Fort Wayne can be such a terrible experience. The food should be cooked and easily scooped into containers to take out in a "fast" manner. I have been to this placed multiple times over the past year and it is always the same experience... slow as molasses. You will often see a long line of people standing and waiting to be served. With the recent pandemic, I decided to order ahead for the 20 dollar family meal deal and pick it up through the drive thru. Even though I ordered ahead with a time for pickup, I ended up going through the drive thru and then had to sit in the car waiting in front of the restaurant as the food was not ready yet. Somehow beef and broccoli could not be ordered from the app either for this family meal. The food itself also was a bit off. Somehow the orange chicken appeared to have either been overcooked in the fryer or old oil as it was very dark in color compared to normal. The fried rice was very bland like they didn't add enough soy sauce when cooking. Overall I am not impressed and I hate the long...
