We went to this restaurant as a recommendation for our anniversary and it was one of the best dinning experiences that we have had in Fort Wayne by far. Service: Beyond kind and friendly, willing to cater to our needs and make us smile, while also not overstaying to disrupt our personal time. Numerous servers were at our table cleaning, serving, refilling drinks, BUT, without becoming overbearing. Atmosphere: It feels clean and classy inside without being pretentious. It is a small restaurant, so it never felt overcrowded. The music was perfect, not to loud, but fit the atmosphere perfectly. Food: This is where we were blown away. The depth of flavor in each bite was magnificent. From appetizers, to mains, all the way to the beautifully crafted desert, the flavors gave us pause to consider each bite. The presentation was every bit as perfect as the pictures posted on their website. The head chef truly has a beautiful mind for flavors and has obviously taken great time and care to select his product carefully. Price: Yes, the price was high, HOWEVER, the portions and quality were insane. I would say that each main dish was closer to a family style serving than it was an "American" style serving. There are also options on the menu that were lower in cost and looked equally delicious. I appreciate all the hard work that everyone at this fine establishment has contributed to create a truly amazing experience that we will not soon forget!

A Cozy Evening at Dana's: Where Classic Meets Creative I recently visited Dana's with a chef friend on a Tuesday evening, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The restaurant has a dimly lit, cozy atmosphere, but it also carries an upbeat energy that makes it feel vibrant and welcoming. Despite being comfortably busy, we received just the right amount of attention from the attentive staff. We opted to sit at the elegant marble bar counter, which turned out to be a perfect spot to sample an array of small plates. The Salted Brioche was warm and pillowy, an ideal start to the meal. The Steak Tartare was perfectly seasoned and melted in the mouth, while the 'Nduja-Stuffed Olives offered a savory, spicy punch that balanced the richness of the other dishes. The Caramelized Fennel was a surprising standout, offering a sweet, delicate flavor that rounded out the meal beautifully. The cocktail menu featured inventive riffs on classic drinks, each one artfully crafted and full of flavor. Dana's offers a perfect blend of creativity and comfort, making it a great spot for an evening out.

We have been waiting a few months to come and heard mixed reviews. I am not one to find the bad in a situation, so we went in with open minds. We knew it would be smaller inside but the "booth" was half a table and the 4 of us had to crowd around it. They definitely dont give large plates so we never felt to squished, but if you don't prefer close seating, dont sit there! My old fashioned was very good. The menu can be a little confusing on what is an app and what is an entree. The baked feta app was really good and I highly recommend if you like salty food. My burger was good and the pasta was very dense with a variety of seasonings, including mint which is an interesting twist..We will probably wait to see what they do with their menu..feels reminiscent of The Golden.

Phenomenal first time experience. I'm a big Penny Drip fan, so when I heard one of the founders was making a restruant, I was eager to try it. They have less reservations available than most because they want to leave the bar open for more walk-in's, but there are still some available online if you want to reservation for a party (especially for 4 people).

In terms of the food, some of the best I've had in town for sure. They had a beef carpaccio that was decadently rare and rich, and the feta cheese appetizer was a tasty block of gooeyness. We just had their burger for an entree, and it tasted great as well. Even though the food was superb, just like with Penny Drip, I think Dana's best feature is their drinks, and they have a lot of custom-made options that I would recommend you experiment with!

Overall, amazing first time experience, 9.5/10, highly recommend going multiple times...
