Wendy's — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Very polite staff. From beginning to end they are so great. The issue is when there is minimal traffic (like two cars) it can take a long time. Today I waited 12 mins for a Chicken sandwich. And it was not busy. They also got it wrong. First the fries where very limp, moist and cold. They did those first I'm guessing. I didn't even get the JR Bacon I ordered. The fries were the wrong size, unless they switched the medium and large containers.

Update: 6/27/2020 First time I've even gone there for breakfast. I want it to be clear that I was the only person there from 6:29am (until I could order) till 6:41. That's when I got my order that I placed at 6:30 am exactly via the app. I get up there and was informed that it would be 10 mins until they could actually make it because the stuff wasn't turned on. Turns out they told me they locked themselves out of the building. Now I wouldn't have even mentioned that because accidents happen but, as I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER THERE they got my order wrong. I ordered three breakfast sandwiches and a drink. I got two sandwiches, neither of which were what I ordered but the drink was correct. How?? How can you mess up the only order of the day? Again, there was not a single customer there but me from the moment they opened until I left. And they looked at the screen, THE ONLY THINGS ON THE SCREEN and made stuff different than that? I have no idea how that happens but I will not be going back. I'm sick of wasting money and pretending it "happens". Well it happens a lot anymore and I would rather no spend it then get whatever they felt like making because, again this makes zero sense how it could...

This is the most disgusting Wendy's I have ever visited! My son & I went there for lunch around 1:30 pm on a Friday afternoon. First all, the counter person was unable to correct our order. Granted, we did change our order to two combos instead of separate items. She asked the one "manager" behind the counter for help and he very reluctantly helped her. He acted as though we were an inconvenience to him! The charge ended up being incorrect due to being overcharged and we had to get a refund on the drink. What I assume was the shift manager was busy at the soda machine with a coke representative trying to get the machine to operate properly. We had to ask the counter girl to get our drinks. The food came and it was cold and disgusting. We did not bring this up to the counter people as we were at the point of just giving up. The dining room was filthy. We had to swat flies away as we ate. The men's bathroom was out of order. The co-ed bathroom had a flimsy lock on the inside to lock the door. There were no paper towels. How do the employees wash their hands when they use the bathroom??? The toilet paper was strategically placed on TOP of the toilet paper dispenser. There was trash all over the floor. Not one time did the shift manager ask how our visit was. This would be the kind of eating establishment you would encounter on a road trip. The kind you go to once and are never expected to be back. I don't know why I keep on coming back here even though you know you will get horrible customer service. In the past I had issues with my order being correct where they would forget items or condiments, but they seemed to have remedy that issue, however customer service is very lacking. For example, I ordered on the app and was excited to try the pretzel bun pub burger. Of course when I pulled in to the drive through lane, they made a sign saying they were out. I asked in the drive through lane what they are going to do about it, they said to pull up to the cashier window. When I got to the cashier window, she stated can we just give it to you on a regular bun. I said no since your paying for a premium price for the sandwich. I asked if I could get something equivalent such as a dave double. She asked her manager who seemed super annoyed and wouldn't even address me. They then went somewhere in the restaurant to find a bun which they somehow did. I was a little concern where they "found" a bun out of nowhere, but it tasted okay.
