On May 22nd I placed an order online for 5 coolers of snowballs. Every year we throw a fun “last day of school bash” for the kids. Previously it’s been paintballs or water balloons, but this year we wanted to try something new. The coolers were set to be delivered May 26th around 3:30pm. Early that morning, we received news that our party of 10 dropped to 3 (due to a medical emergency) and decided it would be best to cancel altogether. Bahama bucks opened at 11am that morning, and while standing outside participating in my daughters 4th grade clap out, I made the call to cancel. The “manager” that answered just a few minutes after 11am told me that wasn’t possible because they had already been made. I confirmed they had JUST opened for the day, to which she acknowledged but stated the crew had gotten there earlier that morning to start making orders. She wasn’t offering any suggestions so I asked if it would be possible to hold the snowballs overnight and I pick them up the next day. She stated that was fine, she’d personally be there until 5pm and to make sure I called before then to give her an official answer.
At 3:50pm, a poor, unknowing, Uber/Door dash driver pulled up and started walking the first cooler towards me. I profusely apologized for the inconvenience to him and immediately called Bahama Bucks again. This time, another manager answered the phone. The girl I spoke with originally had “left early” and no one else was aware of the situation. As I’m explaining this again, the driver next to me gives a puzzled look. According to him, my delivery was a little late because HE HAD TO WAIT FOR THEM TO FINISH MAKING THE SNOWBALLS. Contrary to the “we made them early this morning” I was told a few hours prior. The new manager said no problem, he would cancel the order and refund and I sent the driver back on his way (to which Bahama Bucks was aware of as well).
Fast forward 42 days, MULTIPLE phone calls, messages every time with my name and phone number, a personal visit to the store, a message on their Facebook page AND a complaint filled out on their “contact us” portion of their website later….and I’m still waiting on my $160 🤬🤬. I will be making a more vocal and aggressive visit soon. I’ve been extremely pleasant and understanding this entire time. But frame me for 6 weeks with multiple lies, and I won’t play nice any more 🖕🏻

Read moreDrive-thru was all the way stacked up basically to North Tarrant, and because I didn't want to get into a measuring contest with anyone in line who had probably been waiting way too long, I decided to park and go in. Was not greeted on the way in the door. The girl who took my order looked like she didn't want to be there. And she's probably making $15 an hour. Took them 20 minutes to get my order, and it was for the smallest shaved ice they had, and only one of them as this was for my 9-year-old. I had no interest in anything on the menu. Making sure that I got my money's worth, I grabbed about 20 napkins from the napkin dispenser knowing that this was going to be the best deal for the $5 that I paid. In that time, I am sure the drive-thru turned over twice. Lesson learned, as this place definitely prioritizes the drive-thru and leaves the people inside to rot and wait for their items whenever they don't have someone in the drive-thru. Even if you gave me a free shaved ice, I don't think I would ever return to this place. If my daughter wants something after school, we are going to Wooley's...... At least they have employees that care and serve products that look fresh. My daughter even commented that her shaved ice was halfway melted by the time she walked out the door. Ridiculous. It was probably 85° inside the restaurant. Yes, it was 110° outside but you should still have an environment while you are waiting an unacceptable amount of time for a baby sized shaved ice. What a...
Read moreSo we went through the drive through ordered our order the lady was in a crappy mood for whatever reason she was which is beyond me. And then she was rude to us I asked her do you have to be so rude she said I’m not being rude as she slammed the drive through window proceeding to make our order… then when she came back with our drink I asked her for a receipt so we can add our points because we go there so often and she had such a ugly attitude when responding and getting us the receipt. So then my wife asked her what her name was for obvious reasons she answered “my name is Kira and I’m the manager go ahead and try it”. Which infuriated the wife even more cause not only was she rude the whole time, but also being a smart ass and very snotty about it. I hate to be the Karen here but that’s just ridiculous. And as a business owner I know I wouldn’t want someone like that representing my name more my company in that manner treating your customers the way she did. So since she was the manager and it was obvious we weren’t going to get a name or number for someone higher up. The only solution I had was to leave a review in hopes this gets to the right personnel or manager to address...
