Read moreI went to this restaurant tonight 12/19/2015 with my parents and we walked out humiliated, angry, and with metallic taste in our mouths. We initially ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Shrimp Biryani. The Shrimp Biryani was mushy and wet. We have always had a dry biryani from all other indian restaurants, so we weren't prepared to eat a squishy dish like that. Without even taking a bite, we asked to return the dish and ordered something else instead. My father said, "this is not a biryani," and proceeded to order sheikh Kabob from the menu (to be clear, we also ordered extra naans and carrot Halwa to make the price difference for returning the their "biryani"). When the waitress took the biryani back to the kitchen, the Owner/chef came out and charged at us. He yelled at us and said, "what do you mean this is not a biryani?"He just went on and on for a good 40 seconds yelling at us and convincing us that this is a biryani. It was embarrassing. He had no etiquette, and there was another customer sitting listening to us getting humiliated. It ruined out dinner and we sat there mortified. We left the restaurant as soon as we could. I didn't even want to take the left overs, but my parents convinced me to take it, so it wouldn't be trashed.
As if that wasn't enough, the food was tasteless. I have been to plenty of restaurants in DFW and this was by far one of the worst. I would highly recommend going to Al Markaz in Carrollton or Tandoor in Arlington. The staff treats you with utmost respect, and if you don't enjoy a dish, they are be happy to make you something else.
I will never come back here and I will make sure none of my friends visit...
Read moreROACH ALERT: Whoever decides to eat here after today, 10/07/17, 12pm, I advise you to eat with caution. They put the naan out laye and as soon as I saw them bring it out I went to grab some and there were baby ROACHES crawling in it. As soon as I looked up for someone to tell it's like the lady read my mind because she was already coming to me trying to remove it, I guess before anyone else could see it. Then I saw more around the rice pudding... crawling around the ice and all the food... I just couldn't believe it. My husband quickly stopped eating and we went to the counter to pay, and a man with an apron was there and we told him we wanted to pay and just leave because of what we saw and didn't plan to finish eating it, and he told us no charge. If I saw all these baby reaches, I can only imagine what's in that kitchen with the food... Babies, indicating breeding... Breeding grounds for roaches, people... I'm never going back... if I wanted to feast with roaches I'd eat with the trash pandas in the dumpsters. It's no wonder they have to make the inside...
