Slice City Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Let me first start this review out on a good note. I have been to this establishment several times before have never had any issues. The action on 12/10/2021 was very disappointing for the hostess to take my order and wrote black lady at the bottom of the ticket. Now I was sitting at table 6 which I felt should have been sufficient enough to identify me when my order was ready. It was a family of 5 that came after me and he took they order and he communicated with them about they order and never said anything to me which, I was there before them yes the establishment was getting busy but his actions was not acceptable. I reached out by phone and in person to speak with the manager and as of today May 16 , 2022 I still haven’t received a return call about this situation. I posted the receipt on here because this is unacceptable behavior for a person who dealing with a diverse group of people coming to support the establishment. Great service and food! My hubby googled best pizza near downtown FTW and found this place. We walked in and placed our order and had a seat. Our pizza special (slice, salad and drink) and calzone was brought to us in a timely manner. We made it just before the HS kids came in!! I will say I was skeptical on how the restaurant would be with 20+ kids in it. We forgot it was lunch time and across the street from the HS. Well, one of the kids cursed out loud and the guy at the register called him on it. I know kids will be kids but everyone deserves a great environment. As we were finishing up the guy at the register asked how everything was. We told him great and this was our first visit and wouldn't be our last! I saw this place and was so excited to try it. I’m so glad I did because Slice City is the absolute best pizza in Fort Worth. It was only $14 for this pepperoni pizza. It wasn’t overly greasy like some other places. As the name suggest you can go in and get individual slices and they had an Alfredo and pineapple pizza that looked Devine. You can go get a drink a slice and a salad for $6.95 which is a great deal especially for a cheap date night. Yes, they have Coke! They don’t shy away from a merry Christmas which is so refreshing from everybody only saying happy holidays or nothing at all. Do your self a favor and order from this pace today!
