Giving 2 stars because eggrolls were good. Pho was more noodles than meats. Broth tasted like they used cubed flavoring instead of maturing some actual beef bones in a pot for the broth. I came with my son a month ago and finally found time to sit at a computer today doing paperwork and decided to release back some negative energy that was given to me when I visited here. It was Mother's Day when my son told me he was hungry so I decided to take him out to eat, doing mommy duties etc. So I go in with my son and already got bad vibes. Big heavy weighted waitress seemed surprised that I was there with my son and asked, "Do you have a togo?". I was like no we are dining in. I don't know if she was tired of working or if there was something going on within herself but she was not happy to serve me. She slammed everything on the table and I made sure it was not me who was feeling some type of way. I can assure this energy was coming from her because I clearly was there to feed my son. Maybe if I did not order anything for myself it would look less like I was there to celebrate myself? Because she was being very weird. Slamming the dishes, telling two other tables happy mother's day out loud and gifted them something because they were older women. Mind you, I was not there to celebrate for myself lol. My son said he crave Pho and was hungry so as a mother I took him out to eat because it is my job to do so and it just so happened to coincide with mother's day. I chose this pho place because the other Pho place we usually order togo from will occasionally give us free food time to time because they know us and I did not want them to keep doing that so I ventured out and dined in here because my son did not want his Pho togo he wanted it fresh in a bowl.
Not only was this waitress rude, but when I ordered togo shrimp fried rice, they gave me chicken instead. I know it's a dollar more but still. I know people get tired of working but there is no need to take it out on customers. It's called coping. Try coping by going to the gym or self affirmations because to throw that negative energy around amongst others is just not cool at all. I should have never bought myself anything to eat and only feed my son that way it did not look like I was there to celebrate myself. And I probably should have dressed better? Because I have no idea why when I walked in with my son to wait to be seated she screams out are you here for togo? I would not have waited at the podium if that were the case I would have walked around and found someone to help me if it were togo. Anyways they do give more noodles than meat which absorbs up all the broth and you cannot taste the broth which should be the best part of the noodle soup. I hope they are not picking and choosing how they feed their customers. What you got going with yourself has nothing to do with the customers. We come to eat because we are hungry and willing to pay for the food but there is no need for this weirdness. Feels like a business who thinks they can do whatever because...
Read moreWould give zero stars if I could. I have been coming to this restaurant periodically for the last 4 years. It was always good and friendly service. Today I go in and order a large bowl of pho soup and a coconut juice. The food came out fairly quickly and had about four pieces of rare steak in it. Okay fine prices are going up and tariffs are happening so I just think to myself times are tough and just enjoy the soup. I try to start eating the noodles and they are all clumped together. This was very odd as well as the noodles feeling slimy. The waitress asked me how I was doing and I was letting her know that the noodles were stuck together so I guess she called the management or owner over to talk with me. She let me know that she ordered a different product this time and I was not the only one to complain about it. She said she was sorry and went away. I did not finish the soup and just called for my bill because I knew that I had ordered a coconut juice. They let me know at that time that they so kindly gave me a 20% discount for their problem. This is not the way to run a restaurant if you want to keep clients. It is not my fault that they are having product issues. How embarrassing for them to charge money for something that was unedible. Even if I only came monthly, I was a regular customer. I will not be going back there again I can guarantee. Additionally the plate of condiments that come with it was almost non-existent. We are talking about cheap. Those things don't even cost much but yet they are being very stingy. I do not...
Read moreEnjoyed the atmosphere and service was above expectation. Our server was inviting, friendly and eager to please. We have been to many pho restaurants and this one is now one of my favorites. Atmosphere is important to us and seating is also important. We were seated at a table but attempted to challenge them and asked for a booth to see how they would handle the change. They kindly offered us a booth and didn't make us feel like a burden for wanted comfortable seating. Great Job.
We ordered the beef eye round pho, fried "pork" rice, pork spring rolls and egg rolls.
I'm not sure if they cut the springs rolls normally but we had ordered them for our 2 and 4 years old.. I am pretty sure they cut them knowing this and it was a really sweet gesture. Making it easier for the little ones to eat. (Big Cudos for that). I was impressed with the attention to detail in service and food preparation. The food came out in a flash and did not disappoint. Rice was cooked perfectly and was fresh. The pork was put on the side which is a big difference from the usual pho restaurants. I really enjoyed having it cut into small pieces and on the side. It allows you to control rice to pork proportions (which may just be my weirdness showing)
The tea was fresh and delicious. Jamie tea was on point. I really couldn't find a complaint. They greeted us when we came in and bid us farewell and thanks us for dining in. The price was affordable $50 bucks for the 4 of us. Not to shabby.
It was a good experience all in...
