Read moreSince my review was deleted and no one got back to me on it…. Here it is again.
We initially came in for a team going away party due to someone was leaving our team. We are all military. We had a change in waitresses and the first waitress was awesome.. Once the change happened, we had a new waitress named Kim and as one of my teammates was hugging another one, I jokingly said “look you see him he’s touchy, he’s intoxicated” while laughing. Right after that, I said “no ma’am I’m kidding. That’s his personality.” and then we didn’t see her for awhile after she took our drink and food order. So about 20 min went by and we waived her over. Once she came, we asked her where our drinks and food were and she responded that she didn’t feel comfortable serving us. I worked as a waitress at twin peaks and Texas Roadhouse for many years before. I am very familiar with TABC rules and regulations. And none of us were breaking them or intoxicated to the level of cutting off. One of our SFC’s said that’s fine if you aren’t comfortable, can you send another waitress over. She said “I can send the manager over” and we said “ok that works” Tori, the manager on shift, came over and we asked if anyone looks intoxicated. She said no but that’s not the issue. She said that her waitress said we cussed at her and we needed to leave immediately. These types of lies is what tarnishes our reputation and we all heard what was going on. It was about 8 people who said that never happened but she replied with “well that’s what my server said and I will believe her over yall” as someone from the food service industry for 4 years, I appreciate standing up for your co-workers, however this wasn’t the case and didn’t care to hear our side. This was a straight out lie and we were told to leave off of a joke that I told her was a joke 3 times. She didn’t listen and lied about us using cuss words. We don’t do that. Especially when we go out to civilian places knowing the assumption people have about us. This was very offensive and lost this business money because we will not be coming here again unless in uniform to file a grievance. This waitress was out of line and we never were even told she wasn’t going to serve us. Whether that was alcohol or food. We put in food orders with her as well and she never inputted them due to our “intoxication” cut off the whole table because of one joke involving one person. You would think that if we were THAT intoxicated, you would at least put in the food order to try and...
Read moreI would first like to say the boomer jacks Customer Service in the beginning of my experience was wonderful. However, the young lady who was saving our table became ill and had to leave early. The next young lady who came to service us, was dynamically, rude, and all parts of our service. She came to the table and was very unreceptive to request for drinks, additional condiments, and information about the service. After we were done with our meal, she brought the bills and there was a gratuity charge. Henceforth, my daughter asked about the gratuity charge. The young lady took the time to clap her hands and say that the first young lady went home and she doesn’t get any of the gratuity.. Then she proceeded to say that The gratuity would be for her only, and we, as a group decided that she didn’t do anything that she was asked to do when it came to serving our table. Therefore, my daughter asked to speak to a manager, and then the young lady proceeded to go over to the cash register in beverage area and speak badly about my family and the service that she was expanding to us. Hence, the young lady did not realize that we were looking in her direction and were able to comprehend that she was saying which was negative statement and offensive behavior and language, which was very unappreciated. The manager said that he would deal with the situation directly and I hope this is true but one thing I will say is that individual is work extremely too hard for their own income and it is a privilege to be able to And share a meal with family, but what is so unfortunate is when those who would choose to be Employed by the Food service industry treat you as though that you owe them something in return for bad service.
Disappointed me...
