Checked in on Sunday around 4:00pm. Everything was going well. I was in the room for some hours. Around 9:00pm I took a shower and noticed a lot of small black specs in the water. Which could be anything. But, I saw that they were swimming around in the water. took a closer look and they were all fleas. looked on the towel on the floor and found more fleas. I checked the bed and found no flees on the bed. lucky for me I hadn't put anything on the floor yet. Went downstairs and the Customer Associate did give me another room, but didn't seem all that worried about it. Moved up one floor to another room. Attempted to take another shower to make sure I had no fleas on me. The shower wasn't draining. So I went back downstairs and the Customer Associate said that he would inform maintenance in the morning. But, I couldn't take a shower until they fixed the issue. Finally the Customer Associate gave me another room. I would have thought that he would have given me another room without asking. Especially since I was just attacked by a flea infestation. Get into the third room and everything seemed fine. It could have been cleaner. The bathrooms were clean, but I don't think they always vacuum. The third room I was in had some kind of dried up something on the desk chair, which I would have thought they would have seen. The flea situation didn't follow me to any other room. I was there from Sunday and check out Friday, with no more major issues. Lucky that my wife wasn't with me or we would have left and stayed somewhere else.

Would give 10 stars if I could. First I missed my flight and had to fly around all day and get the middle seat in a plane and had to call twice to change time of check in and both times the person was super nice and helpful. Last time I called them as I boarding a plane and I passed first class people as I headed to middle seat, they said we will get you checked in just show ID. I knew I would get there at 1 am. I walk in around 2 am to the sweetest guy Phoenix at desk and he gives me a toothbrush and shows me where breakfast and laundry ect. were at. I get to my room and I’m amazed by space but most importantly the cleanliness. Just have not seen a hotel this clean even at $300 price point. Bed is so comfy that I have to be up in 3.5 hours for work but I’m tempted to write the review right then and there. I didn’t but wow I’m not getting paid to write this. My work pays for my hotels. It’s Labor Day weekend and people were hanging out all over inside and outside of hotel and I was on the phone in bed and it was quiet enough for me to have slept and not get woken up. Breakfast is amazing and clean. All staff encountered are so nice. Washer and driers very clean and you scan QR code and can use card or Apple Pay. So convenient who carries quarters.

My daughter's and I stayed her for our Spring break. We wanted to checkout things in Ft. Worth that we hadn't done before since we don't live close to that area. Overall, I would rate our stay 3-4 stars. The stay was friendly and service was great. Being 5ft. 3in it was a challenge to be able to safely use the microwave in the room because it was over my head. I couldn't see when things would boil over and then pulling hot items from the microwave over my head, not safe. It would be nice to have a safety step stool to checkout from the desk or have stored in the closet of each room. Also one morning the staff was having a meeting. It was awesome to see staff receive praise for their hard work. However, I need not want to know the rotation of bed comforters. Knowing that bedding is not changed on each new reservation, is a little unsettling. The cookout from the hotel was great minus my kids seeing the cooking staff smoking around the food. I appreciated Kenyatta checking on us at check-in.

Big disappointment for our trip was staying at the TownPlace Suites by Marriot in Lake Worth.

The front staff was ANYTHING but friendly as they hardly look at me when I checked in. When we arrived at our room, the room was hot and we found out the AC was not working. I called the front desk and they called their facility engineer to come SHOW ME HOW TO OPERATE THE THERMOSTAT!

A gentleman man came into our room and discovered that they had a problem with the condensation line being plugged and they had to clear the pipe for the unit to work. He told us it would take 30-45 minutes to fix it and we would be ok after that. We agreed to wait for him to fix it.

While we were waiting we found out that the toilet wasn't flushing. Again, I called the front desk and was told they would send someone to check it.

I asked how many more issues do we need to have before they gave us another room. The pleasant (being sarcastic here) lady told me they will make sure THE TOILET WAS'T FLUSHING BEFORE THEY CONSIDERED GIVING US ANOTHER ROOM. I guess the thermostat and toilet flushing here in Texas is different than other parts of the world.

After waiting 15-20 minutes they called and asked that I came down to pick up keys for another room.

When we arrived at our new room, it was nice and cool and everything looked good. Until I took a shower and found out the the toiletries dish in the shower was broken and loose of its screws, and the gel bottle in the shower had funny looking matter coming out of it.

Every time we left the hotel or came back the front staff was not friendly at all. Always looking away from the entrance. The staff at the breakfast area were no different. Food items were gone and I heard two other guests telling them they needed more sausages, more waffle mix, and when we tried to get something, it was also in short supply.

The rooms are big. The kitchenette is nice but the microwave is a bit high considering it’s not a range bell for an exhaust.

Overall, a...

I chose this hotel after about an hour of looking at other hotels in the area and was let down by my choice. I expected a lot better for an average price of $192.50 per night, and I do not recommend staying here.

Good: Front desk staff was very nice Inside its visually a nice place Good location if you need to be in this area Probably one of the nicer hotels in the area Fast internet, good wireless Breakfast bar is ok Lots of parking Suite we stayed in had nice amenities

The not so good: Our hotel suite had a not so great sweaty gym smell Beds are worn in A good deal of trash on the ground near the entry, overflowing trashcans. Rusty shower curtains Received towels that had makeup stains No clear direction on masks, there are signs posted that masks are required but staff and guests did not wear masks. No direction on what vaccinated people are allowed to do. Chromecast in room did not work, required configuring but could not get it to work. When we returned to our room around 4pm we found that housekeeping had not visited our room. I requested that they clean the room, I was told they would try. Called and requested at least the beds be made. Came back later and only one was made, no tidying or removal of used towels, bare minimum effort was made to satisfy the request. I understand that there is reduced housekeeping due to COVID19 but the lack of accommodation seems unreasonable, particularly...
