Came on a Saturday night which is already a mistake There was a wait of about 25min for a table which wasn't too bad, we were offered seats at the bar which we took and only waited around 10min. Our server was also the bartender, Natasha, and she was absolutely great but she was also very swamped with tending the bar, getting the drinks and also had responsibility serving a table. We got our waters quickly, and was able to put in for an appetizer - also asked for bread but I don't think she heard us since it was quite loud. After about 5 or so min, she asked if we were ready to order or if we needed a few more minutes, and we made another mistake asking for a few min as it turned into nearly 20min before she was able to get back to us.
A server brought out our appetizer and asked if we needed anything else, so we asked for bread again. He never showed back up or brought it to us. When we finally got to order with Natasha, we asked her for bread as well, and she made it her own responsibility if it wasn't out in a few minutes she would go get it herself which she ended up doing.
We had gotten the max and cheese bites, they weren't bad but weren't good either...the Mac and cheese filling was barely there, it was dry and overcooked and the cheese had a weird taste. We ordered steak and shrimp pasta, and steak and shrimp with mixed veggies. My steak was overcooked (asked for medium rare, got medium well on parts of it and we'll done on other parts) and it was so salty I couldn't eat but a couple bites even with the pasta. The pasta itself was also way overcooked and mush. His steak was cooked perfectly but his shrimp was severely overseasoned as well. I ordered an extra side of loaded mashed potatoes and it was just cold all the way through like they plated it first and it just sat waiting. We made no complaints since we didn't want to add more to Natasha's plate and have to wait much longer.
Overall, the food was terrible, the bread didn't come out till 30min after we were seated and asking for it 3 times, the service took a long time. Our server Natasha was great, and I don't blame her for the delay. I'm giving the rating 3 stars because of her, otherwise it would have...
Read moreArrived for Lunch with a group of 9. Restaurant states it opens at 11:00 am. 11:05 we went to doors and they were locked. After a few minutes a staff member finally opened up. We were promptly seated and our drink order was taken. After drinks arrived our food order was taken. The 9 of us sat at 4 tables pushed together. When lunch was brought out, the other 3 tables received their orders correctly. However, at our table all 4 of us received incorrect orders. So the 4 of sat there waiting for our meals while the others enjoyed their lunch. We finally received our food and the waitress stated she would “comp” 1 meal. We were all paying separately which made no sense. The food was good but service went downhill from there! My sister and I split a plate of the Awesome Blossom Chicken and we only received 1 dipping sauce. I gave that to my sister. By the time I had asked the waitress Twice for my sauce and by the time it finally arrived my food was cold. Then We all sat there needing drink refills with no one checking on us. Meals were completed, we were thirsty and we just wanted our checks so we could leave. After a lengthy wait I finally got up and went to Hostess asking her to get our waitress. After another lengthy wait the waitress finally appeared apologizing for the wait and offered all of us to go drinks which we all refused! We didn’t have time to wait for those as we all just wanted to leave. Of course when the waitress was handing out the checks she got those all mixed up! Again MORE waiting! Our table of 9 were very unhappy! This was our first time visiting the New Outback in Lake Worth, Texas and I know myself along with 5 others stated we would Not be back. Please consider using an experienced wait staff member to serve a large party!!! Our Ladies Group will find other dining establishments that provide...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to spice up our evening by dining out with some friends. The waiter was trying his best, but things took a nosedive faster than a lead balloon. My friend, in a very polite manner, suggested we all eat together, so the food should arrive simultaneously. My side salad waltzed in a whole 15 minutes before the main event, and my husband, who also ordered one, didn’t see his until the rest of the feast showed up. Then, in a classic case of ‘where are my fries?’, the waiter or whoever was in charge completely blanked on my order. We asked about them three times, and since our food had already made its grand entrance, we figured they could just forget about it. Just as we were polishing off our plates, the manager strolled in with the fries. It was like a comedy sketch! We had no clue how many fries were coming, and my husband had already generously shared his fries with me. We’ve made it abundantly clear that the fries are off our wish list! The rest of the meal was decent. The coconut shrimp looked like they had a bit too much sun, and the chicken was drier than a desert. But hey, if you’re at a steakhouse, you should probably just order steak, right? In the grand finale, the waiter managed to mix up our checks. Even after a second round of confusion, it was still wrong, but we were ready to bolt and just wanted to escape. The manager held the door for us as we made our exit, apologizing once more about the fries. I was all set to share my thoughts in a polite manner, but my sweet husband just smiled and...
