Watched Five Nights At Freddy's tonight with my son.. a few things.. First of all, our showing was at 8:15pm... parking lot is dark. No lights what so ever. That is not okay in my opinion, esp in these days... I parked next door at the EMPTY business under a parking lot light because that's where I felt was safest.. Secondly, the bathrooms were filthy! The ones up front as well as down the hall by theater 2 (the room we were in) it also smelt bad! Smelt like mildew? Very stale smelling and was extremely uncomfortable as far as seats, the air wasn't on and when it did come on it was briefly. It was a little too warm. Lastly, the movie was over by about 10:30. So walking back out to the parking lot, it was still pitch dark! Not okay! I mentioned it to the bar tender.. (bars at a movie theater?.. okay, cool whatever) he stated he "just works here" he didn't know what to tell me advised I go talk to someone "over there" finally spoke with a manager, (didn't catch his name) I explained I wasn't trying to just complain however very unsettling the parking lot to be so dark. He stated he was unaware and was just notified by said bar tender I told.. he apologized and that was that... (as we were pulling out they did turn them on, however they were super dim.. still unsettling to me) He was very nice and I do appreciate that but it just was not okay with me that the street lights weren't on.. at 10pm and other movies that let out later... like as a night manager... isn't that your job? To make sure?!
I will not be returning to that location.. Uncomfortable,...
Read moreWas in theater 11, seats g7-g9, terribly uncomfortable. Pretty sure the seats were broken from how bad the forward tilt of the seat was, and how loose it felt when you actually leaned back. I remember "old movie" seats not being as comfortable as the newer recliner style seating in most theaters, but they were never THIS bad. It was pretty bad. I also had to leave in the beginning of the movie so that a manager could turn the lights off, apparently the cleaning crew left the lights on, according to him. Typical overpriced concession prices, and they had different flavored popcorn (not sure if this is an all-around thing or just for the holidays) but the cheese one was super stale. Ticket sale area is a waste of space since they make you go to concessions if you're paying cash or not using the kiosk. It feels like they could add a few game machines in that corner, the place felt kind of sad with the giant soda/flavor machines in the middle of the lobby looking like some main attraction. The super tiny condiments/butter area was not well stocked (random relish bottle hanging out with no place for it, plus a bunch of relish packets, nearly empty ketchup bottle, old hard mustard), and both that area and the soda machines were really dirty considering how much downtime the employees seemed to have (manager was just chillin' and talking to ticket girl when I asked about the lights). The girls we were serviced by were fine and friendly, but both of the managers seemed like they were more likely to bark orders than...
Read moreWhile it's not my favorite movie theater to go to, it is a close second. The tickets are a good price at $5 nearly every time, it's kept at a comfortable temperature, service is as good as you can reasonably expect of any theater, there's a somewhat wide selection of food, and in my experience it's kept clean. The only problems I ever come across in this theater are completely normal things you should expect to encounter in EVERY theater from time to time: The popcorn, while fresh most of the time I've been there, cannot always be fresh. The food is generally priced too high considering its quality. A few seats here and there may be broken, in which case you should just sit in a different seat. Obviously the seats are not the exact same as the computer chair or couch or whatever that you sit in at home, so if your back isn't in the best shape, it will feel uncomfortable by default, and that is no one's fault but yours for not taking care of your back properly. The floor will occasionally have a spot where something spilled. Sometimes an employee may not be in a super great mood because they, like you, are human. Honestly I don't think there's anything consistently wrong with this place that isn't true of every other movie theater. It may not go above and beyond, but there are far worse theaters out there. I give it...
