Let me start with the good first: I will say the service started off great thatâs why I gave 2 stars âïž! Everyone was always nice and professional in store and I was allowed to pay my furniture off with no rush. I paid the set off on 11/2/24 and was able to customize it to the color I wanted. Around the 3rd week in January (because there were a lot of holidays that followed after I paid the set off) I called customer care to see when the set would be arriving now mind you they already told me it would be 8-10weeks after the layaway was paid, I was cool with that I spoke to Aaron (I believe thatâs his name if not he knows who he is) at the call center and he proceeded to tell me itâs custom order it different than regular orderâŠWell I am the one that ordered it so I know I was simply trying to ask when it would come.. Duh. So then I called the store again on January 31st and was told that I would not be getting my furniture due to a plane going into the warehouse the manager just found out that day but it happened January the 2nd! Now understand I am not mad at the warehouse being damaged thatâs beyond their control but itâs the lack of communication and finding out after I waited all this time just to be told that I would not be getting my set. As I told the manager if I hadnât called who was going to tell me when would I have been told this? Everything that I bought (rug mirrors etc)was geared towards this set and to be told that I was not going to get the set was devastating and the lack of communication was terrible thatâs just not the way you do business! They did give me a full refund and I will not be buying anything from them not ever because once trust is broken I donât go back. Everyone at the store was good shout out to Carlos & Emmađ©·but the call center needs better training ( like donât act like i shouldnât be calling about my furniture and come to find out he was wrong my furniture would not be coming not only in 2 weeks but not at all but he was trying to sound smart, thatâs cool I got him all the way together) I cannot in good conscience recommend HomeZone furniture the prices are very expensive which was not an issue because they really do give you ways to pay, but itâs no way that I shouldâve been told January 31st that I was not getting my set no one emailed me or called! I shouldnât have to pay and beg. Unacceptable, I really tried to root for them and wouldâve given 5stars had the communication and situation been discussed early on but it wasnât! I was offered to look at the fabrics they had in store but none were what I wanted so I am glad I got all $1,632 of my money back! They did not hover over me like a hawk looking for food, but immediately made me feel comfortable and greeted me immediately upon entering their store. I went three times for greater than an hour each. Spoke with three different sales associates and each one of them treated me with the same sense of importance ensuring I received the utmost care and courtesy each time. It was challenging on my part due to moving to a new apartment and being at the mercy of the complex waiting on measurements for the walls in living room. But thanks to the staff and even willing to help in any way possible to prove no matter what they were here for me.
