I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience I had at your restaurant located in Fort Worth (Fossil Bluff). As a long-time loyal patron, it pains me to say that the level of service I received on 12/08/2023 was far below the standard I have come to expect from BoomerJack's.
I have been a frequent visitor to this particular location for many years, and until now, I have always enjoyed exceptional service and a pleasant dining atmosphere. However, my most recent visit left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.
Unfortunately, I must highlight that the behavior exhibited by your manager, Bama, was particularly disappointing. Bama came across as extremely rude and unprofessional, which only served to exacerbate the already subpar experience. Their lack of respect and disregard for the customers' needs has left a lasting negative impression.
I believe it would be beneficial for both the management and staff at this location to undergo thorough training in customer service. Such training could help ensure that all team members understand the value of a pleasant dining experience and the role they play in achieving customer satisfaction. Good customer service is an integral part of any successful restaurant, and I believe addressing this issue will greatly improve the overall reputation of BoomerJack's Grill.
As a loyal patron, I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously and take appropriate actions to rectify the current shortcomings. I have always recommended BoomerJack's Grill to friends and family, but I cannot, in good conscience, continue doing so based on this recent experience. I truly believe in your potential to provide outstanding service and encourage you to invest in the necessary training to ensure consistent and excellent customer service moving forward.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to seeing improvements at this...
Read moreHad a reservation for a birthday party Sunday night with some friends. We all showed up and we’re sat fairly fast. Note when we arrived there were only 3 tables sat in the main dining area at the front. I ordered a makers old fashioned , when it came out I could tell right away the color was off of what makers should be, tried it and did not taste anything like an old fashioned, a friend tried it and said the same thing. Server finally came back after 15 min and I ordered a tall double jack and coke (figured it was hard to mess that up)… wow was I wrong, and it was not served in a tall glass as requested. Settled for a tall yeingling, and I asked my server to take both mixed drinks away and explained they did not taste right, 10 seconds later me and my party watched and listened to her complain to another server very sarcastically about the drinks that were sent back. Since then refills and time at table from her were scarce. Walked to the bathroom at one point and walked right by a conversation with her and her managers I heard about me and the drinks I sent back!!! Very unprofessional. Then we received checks, and I was charged for both mixed drinks as well as a double makers mark in the old fashioned, when I did not order a double. As well as a skillet queso that I did not order as well. Our party was so fed up and just wanted to leave we paid the tabs anyway “with tip already included” and left. As we were saying by to each other outside the front door, a female manager came up to us and excessively humiliated a member of our party for accidentally taking a 99¢ cheap pen, claiming that we were bad people since our server has to pay for them out of her own pocket. Should be ashamed for your “customer service” as this was mainly only a story about my experience and my drinks. Every member of the party has their own disappointing memory of this night that don’t feel as comfortable to...
Read moreIt was a dark and stormy night… Not really, but it was late; and after the time when most sit-down restaurants are closed. A quick Google Maps search pointed out a place I have passed many times yet never tried.
As I approached the front door, I noticed a sizable and inviting patio to the side, which I imagine would be a pleasant area to dine and hang out when the weather around here cooperates. The inside is a completely open concept and has beautiful TVs strung like crown molding everywhere. Since it was quite late, the crowd was terrifically light, which suited me just fine after a long day. We plopped down at a high top in the bar area.
Everything is here is very clean, BTW, and the staff friendly.
If you have read any of my reviews of Mexican or burger places, or the like, we started in a very similar manner with chips and queso, and yes, they have a kicked-up version topped with ground beef, sour cream, and onion. It was quite good! The chips were very nice; solid enough to hold a topping without crumbling, but not too thick. The salsa was also quite tasty.
For the entree, I asked our server for a recommendation between the Triple B burger and the Spicy Poblano Smash burger. She actually recommended the Triple B as it is one of her favorites and mentioned that the Poblano burger can get soggy with all the moisture. I love poblanos, so I actually went against that thought and ordered that one anyway. We had a good laugh and we went about enjoying the chips and queso. My thoughts on the burger are that the waitress was correct, yet I got the yummy poblano my heart was apparently set on. This burger is huge and I couldn’t finish it, but I had a fun journey trying!
Overall, this was a great choice and I’m thankful to have the opportunity to have a nice sit-down meal when most places have shut the kitchen down.
