This had been my favorite place to go to for Rotisserie chicken until today(May 12, 2021). This has been me and my husband’s go to restaurant for great quality Rotisserie chicken every since we discovered it, which was about 2 yrs ago…and their sides are really great too!
But when we went today they were not trying to serve us! When I went in and the cashier noticed me, I could tell she wasn’t going to be that friendly; which she wasn’t. As soon as she said “Yes ma’am, how can I help you?” I could tell she really didn’t want to help me by the tone in her voice.
After I told her what I wanted to order( which was one of their amazing salads)she immediately said they were out of lettuce. So I called me husband who was waiting in the car to ask him if he wanted something else. So the next thing I tried to order was one of their sandwiches, so she says we are out of the ranch dressing that goes on the sandwich. If I had been thinking, I would’ve told her to put the other type sauce they had which was a Buffalo sauce on it instead. I should’ve known she was lying. She even said they didn’t have cole slaw and said they had stopped selling it a couple months ago, which that was a lie because we had recently ordered their cole slaw. My husband and I didn’t figure out what was going on until we left without any food. They were close to closing, and they didn’t want to have to go out of the way preparing anything for us. That’s it, bottom line. So here’s my tip, don’t go to Cowboys Chicken Fort Worth on Overton Street close to closing time, because they will lie to you in order to not have to prepare anything. I know people want to go home at the end of their work day(I get that)but you should always treat your customers like their special, even if it is close to closing time. Especially if they are long time customers and if you want them to keep coming back as customers. We were so disappointed. May stop giving them our business. All I have to do is say no let’s not go there sweetheart. And my husband...
Read moreWe live in Granbury so always considered going to your restaurant a treat. We stopped by about three weeks ago and we're told that they were out of Chicken, a place named Cowboy Chicken, the middle of the day and I chicken? Anyway my mother who was with us was disappointed since she had never tried your food so yesterday she and I made a trip over so she could ,bad mistake, first off they refused to take her ten dollar bill because it was too new, my mother is 90 years old, she had some money straight from the bank she took a ten out to have lunch! We scrounged together enough to pay but almost walked out then. I ordered two sides of the kettle chips extra crispy, they were almost raw in the middle and white and limp so I sent them back, the girls at the counter looked at me like I had two heads and said what did I want them to do about it. I explained "cook them"then when my dinner came back I had one small order, but at least edible so I let it go, but what prompted me to write this rather than just never going back was that Every! television was turned to a Spanish channel even when I saw news scrolling by it was in Spanish .I was totally insulted, that ten dollar bill you didn't want was AMERICAN money. Show a little respect to the country you are serving. I won't be back, liked your chicken but not what you've...
Read moreEvery single time I come they allllways forget my bread roll! I usually order Togo . And twice I have had COLD Mac n cheese , once dining in and once on a Togo order . Tonight I came in and I told them my son wanted a sprite and they said ok and when we get there the soda machine was out of syrup and when I told the dark haired guy bagging up all the food he was like “yea our fountain drinks are out” ummmm ok ? So why didn’t y’all care to say that when I called or even when I got my cups and walked away. I had to check my food tonight and guess what? No bread roll in my food but there was for my son . And then I went to get sweet tea and it was unsweetened so I asked that same guy and he said “ok well add Sugar to that for you!” Then never did and I stood up by the counter waiting for him to acknowledge me again and he ignored me so I asked the dark haired cashier girl and she seemed like it was an inconvenience for her to have to sweeten it and when she was doing it I said thank you and she flat out ignored me and when she finished she said “there you go it should be sweet now!” And walked away without making sure it was good (luckily it was) but I ordered on the phone and I got to the store and ended up spending 20 minutes waiting for the drink situation alone because our food was ready the minute...
