I ordered online late Saturday (9-3-16) night, actually, it was so late, it was Sunday, 9-4-16 at 1:13 a.m.. They stop delivering at 2:00 a.m.. I was expecting 'attitude' from employees since it was so late and employees are ready to get off work by 1:15 a.m.! A young man called as soon as they received my order, to let me know they were out of salad. 'Was there something on their menu I would like to have?'. He was very friendly and dedicated to please me. His voice was energetic, about my order. Not talking fast to get me off the phone so he could go home. His goal was customer satisfaction. I was quite surprised and pleased a pizza 'place' was so dedicated to customer satisfaction. I ordered three, thin crust pizza's. they were perfection! The crust was crunchy like a cracker, just the way we like pizza. I looked at the bottom of the pizza, the crust was a beautiful, light golden color. Perfect.
I ordered stuffed cheesy bread filled with feta cheese and spinach with trepidation since I have never had 'stuffed cheesy bread' from any restaurant. It was delicious and a generous size. With a salad, this would be a satisfying meal. If this were served to people and asked to name a restaurant they thought prepared, they would never guess Domino's. I think every response would be an upper end restaurant. I know I was thinking about all of the expensive restaurant's, including Mobil Five Star restaurants I have had the pleasure to dine. This cheesy bread was more enjoyable and memorable than any hors d' oeuvres or appetizers I have ever had! Finally, I HAD to order Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes, the name alone, made my mouth water. I can say, without reservation, the Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes, are, by far, the very best dessert I have EVER had, including Mobil Five Star restaurant's! I have been raving about Domino's food but, especially the Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes, to everyone I have talked to since Sunday. The friend's who order regularly, raved about Domino's food also. They said they had the Domino's 'App' on their phones, it is 'super' easy to use. It has been 30 years since I had Domino's pizza. 'Back in the day' my friends had kids in junior high, middle school, who rushed home after school and ordered pizza to be delivered. I think Domino's only had one 'crust'. It was thick and doughy, I thought it was awful. So, thirty years later, I decided to try Domino's thin crust. I was thrilled with my order and will be a 'regular' customer, from now on. The Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes will be my downfall. I expect to gain at least 30 pounds from eating, feeding this addiction! Delivery was very fast and the delivery man was super nice. I noted on my order to give me extra time to answer the door since I had just had a hip replacement and was walking VERY slowly. When I opened the door, the first thing he asked was 'how are you doing since your surgery?'. He offered to deliver to my kitchen. I had a table by the door to set deliveries on, so declined his offer. He was SO nice. I was completely satisfied with the service I received from Domino's at 7638 McCart, Fort Worth. I hope the area supervisor recognizes what a great team this location has! The only 'Con' for me, was trying to order without seeing prices. The website should have the price beside the dish and as you add items to, say, a pizza, the price instantly changes. The same price change should occur if you take a topping off.
I CAN SAY I AM NOW A 'DIE HARD' FAN OF DOMINO'S! Now, I...
Read moreI just had one of the worst experiences with Dominoes that I have ever had with any food establishment. It was a result of an inexperienced kid given the title of manager.
Kristi, manger of Dominoes Pizza on McCart, was unbelievably foolish and unprofessional with her actions and choice of words used to avoid replacing an order that was wrongly prepared. Integrity is big and to tell a customer in so many words that their menu description is not necessarily what you'll get after payment is made, because "we don't measure our pizzas," is unbelievable. I felt this kid had no understanding of customer service, unlike Chick fil a employees, and because she was dead set on being right, she did what she do....lie.
Kristy responded in three ways she should never had as a manager. First, she ragged on another manager at her location, taking up my time telling me what he did wrong. Second, she told me they don't measure their pizza's, yet it clearly states on their menu "Large (14"). Lastly, she spent over 20 mins. making up reasons not to honor the word of her co-worker for a large pizza that likely only cost $5 to produce, rather than weighing, customer service and loss of a customer who patronizes their establishment on average 2-3 times a month.
It all started with a pizza I ordered 3-Days ago that clearly wasn't the 14" size I paid for (see attached photos). The pizza measured 12." I called and spoke with manager, Braylon, who told me Dominoes would remake the pizza. I told him my husband said it was too hot out and he did not feel like driving back up there right then when he had just made it home, and he really should nit have been expected to for a mistake their mistake. Braylon said alright, that he would put the credit under my phone#, and to call when we wanted it remade. He's a manger, I had no reason to question his integrity. I even told him my husband and I measured the pizza and took photos because we knew it wasn't the 14" we paid for. Braylon was apologetic, he seemed to understand how their mistake had inconvenienced us by 1) asking that we drive back out in the starching hot sun and burn up more gas to correct a mistake they made by not doing it right the first time.
Unlike Braylon, today when I called for Dominoes to remake that pizza, Kristi, wasted a good 20 minutes of my time, calling around to find out what she should do and flagrantly making the three errors I noted at the onset of this complaint. She should be dinged for ineffective decision making and integrity. This girl lied at the drop of a pin to support a faulty argument.
As a current community engagement specialist, I will ensure everyone I speak to know about the type of people chosen to run Dominoes Pizza on McCart. It's no wonder they have a review rating of 3. Now thanks to Kristi, I will be patronizing Papa...
Read moreSO.....Moved to a new house in January and have had the toughest time getting anyone to deliver to our new home since it's in a new community. Went online to this domino's to place an order and low and behold it let me place an order, something it would not allow me to do a few months ago. Get a phone call from the store 5 minutes later saying they would not deliver to us because we are in, and I quote, "A dead area that no one delivers to"! Wasn't going to fight it cause I was hungry and wanted to move on. I asked about receiving a confirmation that my order was canceled so I would know for sure that it was returned to my card and was told they don't do that...so I asked for a manager, found out that was who I was speaking to. When I asked about receiving an email confirmation about the cancellation, since you get one when you place the order, he stated that he wasn't sure if one was sent like that but he could email me personally if that would help. Wasn't satisfied with that answer cause he could just tell me over the phone he canceled it and I would have to trust that just as much as a personal email from him. Then I asked how long it would take since I was charged already and of course I get the answer I expect...that it would probably take 3-5 week days! So, quick to take money but take your time returning. As I said though, that was expected and I'm not too upset, other than the fact I spent $66.00 tip included on the website and now have to spend more money elsewhere to eat tonight! So, I go and look on google maps, which my address shows up on just fine, along with the 50-60 other homes around and right down the road from me in "The Dead Area" and this domino's is only 4.8 miles away!!! Now I would never claim to be the smartest man...but this "Dead Area" community has been here for almost a year now, some homes shorter, and a store that is less than 5 miles away won't take advantage of the extra business that they could pick up on??? Just doesn't make good business sense to me. Also, on another note, I know the constant turnover and constant need that feeds the turnover of fast food establishments and businesses of this sort, especially during the summer months...but if you are a manager at a store, you really should have a much better personality and way better understanding of company policies and be able to answer simple questions that customers...or would be customers might have from...
