THE WORST PLACE YOU CAN BUY FURNITURE FOR YOUR HOME... About three months ago, I went to Laz Boy, branch at 9461 North Freeway Ft Worth Texas, and loved the sofa and love seat called the pinnacle. When I ordered both, the salesperson told me that only the sofa was available, but the love seat I could order. Because it is not available, and I actually placed a request for it after the sales representative explained to me that it would reach me after three months and I agreed and it was agreed on the sofa and seats... After about a week I received the sofa and it was surprising that one of its sides moved when you sat on it and it made a noise as if it was in it Some of its devices need to be plugged in or one of its links is missing inside, which causes the feeling that you will fall when you are getting ready to sit on it, and I was also surprised that the mobile phone charger on the same side does not work at all... And the pain journey began to contact customer service to report these defects And the earliest date for the presence of the specialized technician was determined, and it was after three weeks. And indeed, the specialist came and decided that it was necessary to bring a special wire to fix the charger. Accordingly, he decided to leave and make another appointment two weeks later to fix the charger. And indeed, he came and fixed it ⦠When I asked the specialist about the other problem related to the vibration of one of the sides of the sofa, he decided that it had one of the spare parts missing and the sofa must be sent to the factory to get this part and fix it, so I begged him to fix it inside my house, but he decided that this is only possible inside The factory, so I agreed and the sofa was already moved, I waited about two months for it to come back and throughout this period I made several complaints to customer service. I was surprised by one of the female customer service workers, who responded to me very rudely saying (when we finish fixing it, we will notify you and it is enough to contact us). After about two months, they returned the sofa to me after fixing the problemā¦. Then it was time to receive the love seat, for which a special request was issued, where the delivery workers put it and tried it on before leaving, and I asked them to try it myself before they left to make sure that everything was in order. Surprisingly, one of the two seats fell down and was completely different from the other seat. Delivery workers that they really decided that they noticed this difference between the two seats, but they are just delivery workers and not in their hands, but I have to communicate with customer service, so I refused to receive it and asked the delivery workers to return it to the seller, and the workers actually returned it, and since then I have been suffering from dealing with specialists in this failed place, although From the exorbitant prices I have paid, for which I have found nothing, either in the product or in those responsible for the sale... Currently having to hire an attorney due to poor quality, horrific customer service (after the payment and delivery), and refusal to take back a subpar product for a refund. It is pretty easy to fix this problem with a full refund to the customer and acceptance of the falling apart product back that they built.
Purchased couch and two chairs in early 2023. After several months, they began to peel, and fall apart. After several unanswered calls and email, in to customer service, we had to continue to reach out.
After reaching someone, Customer Service Associate stated we needed to pay them to come out to the house even though they are under warranty and local. We were also told they can send a patch kit for us to fix the couch??? We were also told that we need to purchase a couch shaver for us to shave the fabric. Funny how this was never told to us during the sales process. If that was stated we may have to patch the couch ourselves, I would have definitely not purchased it.
When asked about the corner of the chairs that were coming apart, we were asked to pay money for them to travel to our local home. Nope, I will not pay another penny for something I still owe thousands on and due to the poor craftsmanship that will be useless by the time it is paid off.
You cannot even put into words the rudeness of the associate on the phone. I wish I had it recorded. After confronting the associate about why we had not gotten a email or telephone call, after our original inquiries, the customer service associate lied about calling us. Fortunately, we have documentation proving this never occurred.
Again, I will never purchase another piece of furniture from this company or store due to the āafter purchaseā experience. They will take your money and be non existent after the delivery.
It would be another thing if they put themselves in the customers shoes and realized they would want a refund if it concerned them. There is one way to...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!!! Never buy ANY furniture from La Z boy. Absolutely the worst experience ever and the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever purchased. We went to Alliance location in Fort Worth. We had the designer visit our home to help us with our choices. Once we showed up to meet at Alliance to actually choose our furniture, this is when I saw the 1st red flag. I wish I would have ran out the door then. The designer was helping us with some of our final choices in choosing leather/ fabric and going over some of the details when the manager comes to her and asks how much money she made off of us. I was shocked. He didnāt know that I heard him say that. Once the order came in, 6 months later, some of the items we ordered were not there. The manager was so rude and argued with me over a wall clock. He said he could order another one but it would be at least another 6 months and offered no discount for the inconvenience. I also showed him the exact clock, which was hanging in the showroom floor. He could have offered to let us have that one but did not. Our furniture came with dirty spots on two of the pieces, it took 6 weeks before someone was able to come ā look at itā. Then it took another 3 weeks for someone to come and remove the spots on the fabric. The guy used the same product that he used to remove dirt spots on the fabric on the leather furniture too. Now our leather furniture has a smear spot on it from whatever product this man used. He said it would disappear after it dried, it never disappeared. Of course they did nothing about it. Here comes the biggest problem. The loveseat and sofa are both leather, Iām not even sure itās real leather at this point. It has a rough feel to it and as I stated earlier, has the smear mark on the back which is visible. The comfort is absolutely horrible. When you sit on either end of the sofa or loveseat you feel a metal bar sticking you right in the ribs. You can not rest your head or ANY part of your body on it without feeling the metal bar. There is obviously NOT enough padding used. They refused to fix or allow us to return this furniture that we payed over $15,000. This is the worst company ever.
