Fourth Edit: Nevermind, management still sucks, don't go here.
Third and Final Edit: The owner has taken my advice and chosen to focus on showing appreciation for the good reviews rather than trying to argue down patrons who give less than 5 stars. They've removed their petty responses to my initial reviews and changed their negative responses to other patron reviews that are less than 5 stars. I applaud the growth. I guess I really did help you make your business a little better. But don't worry, I won't even charge you.
Second Edit: The owner seems to believe I want special treatment of some kind because I dont want to give them a five star review when in reality the only person wanting special treatment is them because they seem to believe patrons owe them any type of explanation for any rating less than five stars. I think they don't understand that a review is someones personal opinion. Condescendingly demanding that patrons justify their review of your establishment does not equate to you "standing up for yourselves". If you spent as much time on your business as you have in your tacky, unprofessional responses then my review might have been five stars, or at least I might have patronized your establishment again. Your unprofessional responses speak for themselves. Please enjoy your one star review, it's well earned at this point. And if you want me to make your bar better you will have to pay me.
Edit: Sorry. My review was three stars initially, which is an average score to me because this club is average. To me this club doesn't have anything special going for it, but it's average so i gave an average score. HOWEVER, unprofessional management has made me change that score to a 1 star. Sometimes business owners shouldn't be the one to respond to reviews, especially if they don't have good social media experience. What's truly insane is that Jackie O's has many other five star reviews that they have completely ignored - they don't even offer a thank you. But for some reason the owner feels the need to respond to anything less than 5stars and argue about why they deserve 5 stars. It's weird behavior, and Jackie Os will never have my patronage again.

Read morehonestly i’d given it a 5 stars because it’s a cool place. i’m straight so of course the environment was different but i enjoyed it and constantly kept coming. the gay men have a huge problem with physical touching to where you have to threaten violence for them to stop. even that was fine for me, just apart of it ya know ? tonight i got touched on my face after saying multiple times to not. i settled the situation, it was fine. another customer came and started telling me i was wrong and “what’s wrong with someone touching your face, i’ll touch your face” to the point where i tell her to touch my face. i wouldn’t hit women of course, three taps then yeah, but it was the point of personal boundaries. slaps me, tries to drive me like a linebacker and i stonewall. the bartender then came and broke it up kicking me out leaving everyone else where they where. touched no one, showed no intentions of hitting the other girl who slapped me, nor did i argue. i do honestly believe because its a primarily gay atmosphere that i got singled out in the situation, so if you’re gay it’s a cool place. if you’re not then idk...
Read moreAs I walked inside and up to the bar area, the bartender greeted me with a welcoming smile and asked me what I'd like. I browsed their menu quickly, for about five seconds, and said, "I like fruity, sweet, and refreshing drinks, but not too sweet. " Both the bartender and one of their regulars who was sitting in the bar area said a Cosmopolitan. I said," Awesome, I'd like a Cosmo, please.
It has to be the best cosmo I've had thus far. It was fruity, refreshing, and had a perfect hint of sweetness. It was perfect and it was aesthetically pleasing.
10/10
Then I opted for something different. I can't recall the name of the drink, but it was a tad on the stronger side, and still good. I was getting my money's worth. Hehe he
However, as I mentioned before, Cosmo was perfect. I should've just had another one.
5/5
The ambience was very fun and welcoming. The bartender was so kind and had a bubbly personality. They provided exceptional customer service (I can't recall their name but hopefully they see this).
I had such a fun time and enjoyed the experience I had here. If you have yet to check it out, I...
