I am the owner of a Homecare Agency and Adult Day Center. One of the services that my business offer is Personal Assistance Services (PAS). 90 percent of my clients are elderly or disabled. With COVID still active, they are encouraged to shelter at home. One purpose of hiring PAS is to assist clients with tasks that me be difficult to achieve without assistance. Hence, running errands and picking up meals. I go to several McDonald franchises so I understand that each is ran differently. However, I have never had an encounter where I was denied services. This is unacceptable because I can not supply my client his paid service. Unfortunately, it revolves around a small Senior Coffee. It may not seem like a big deal but most clients are on fixed incomes. I am a business owner as well and my clients always come first. When my clients are unable to visit my Day Center, I am able to visit them at their homes. Most of them love coffee and I supply it endlessly at my facility. Other times, I stop by Mcdonald to get them a coffee. Today, I had one client with me and asked for 3 senior coffees. I was informed that I would need all 3 clients in the car with me(my age was not disclosed although I could be a senior). So, that was biased! I see printed on my receipt that this franchise on Camp Bowie Blvd Ft Worth Texas 76116 is a veteran-owned family. 80 percent of my clients are disabled veterans, I am contracted with Veteran Affairs. It was unnecessary to deny me 'senior' coffee because that is what my clients requested and unavailable to visit personally. I’m not sure if it’s because of my nationality or his ignorance. However, I went to my typical McDonalds on Hulen and got 4 Senior Coffees without any incident. It is only coffee and typically the highlight of their day! Especially, with COVID and inability to visit an actual McDonalds. That is one of the things that my clients truly enjoyed. One of our mission statements is to ‘enhance socialization, reduce isolation and encourage community integration. I’m very disappointed with...
Read moreI come to this location daily. I ordered a couple chicken tenders - & they had foreign material on them, so I sent them back. The new tenders came w/ the same issue. This time I took them to the newest gm lady (white w/ brown hair - don't know her name) & as I was looking for what I seen, she snatched the tender out my hand at the counter & told me "go have a seat" like she was exasperated I mentioned it - right at the front counter. I noted her tone & repeated "go have a Seat..?" I decided chill, but by that time, I didn't want them, so I just asked for a refund when the 3rd set came. She gave me my money back, then came to my table. I told her I never seen her talk to any other customer like that & she retorted "how do you know when you're in the corner all day?" Then told me she "lets" me stay here, & if I don't like it to leave. I told her she was wrong for punishing me for speaking up for myself - & as a customer I felt disrespected. She said "sorry" very dryly & proceeded stared me down with such unspoken hostility.
I come today, & now there's a "sign" that can now be used to pick & choose who gets to stay & who has to go based on new "policy" - which all boils down to preference. It seems folks with big titles at this location picks & chooses who deserves respect & who doesn't; when all people deserve to be respected where they patronize through transaction - whether large or small. I've already had the police called on me by one manager (no longer there) for no reason - which I was rewarded 10 free large coffees for my trouble. had another incident where the owner promised to mail out meal coupons for my trouble - which I have yet to receive. I need a record of this continuous harassment for my own sake & safety 1st; then I need for this to be settled once & for all so no one else is met with undeserving humility - regardless of how she or anyone else feels they deserve...
Read moreIf I could do zero stars I would after the treatment I received this morning. I am not one to complain but this experience really upset me. I was at the McDonald's at 6401 camp Bowie fort worth 76116. I had the worst experience ever that I will be posting on Google reviews and the next door app. It was beyond horrible with regards to the treatment I received from a manager who probably gave me a fake name. My receipt number is 1307. Anyway I was in the drive thru behind another car whose order was being taken when suddenly that car started driving in reverse and almost hit my car. I pulled up and waited a few minutes then I said hello with no response so I I waited then said hello again. After that time a lady came on the speaker and yelled very rudely that saying hello ain't going to make her take my order any faster. Then after another few minutes my order was taken. When I pulled up to the window to pay I asked who took my order in which that person was very nice and said she was just getting in. Once I pulled up to the other window the lady there got the manager who said she took my order and that I should have waited because that drive thru lane was closed. I told her if I was told that the lane was closed then I would have went inside instead of waiting over 5 minutes while orders were being taken in the other lane. She started smiling and laughing. I told her she was very rude and that I would be filing a complaint she said her name was Samantha and that she would still have a job tomorrow. This attitude is not okay for customer service and It needs to be addressed. I wouldn't be surprised if she gave me a fake name since she was not wearing a name tag but she is short, heavy set, with...
