Melila was the rudest person ever. Body language speaks volumes. As well as the way you hold your mouth, eyes, and the way that you move. Immediately upon our entrance, she yells out in the ugliest tone, "we are out of almost everything," as she is waiting on other patrons. Our turn comes, and we ask her what is she out of . She says guacamole and cheese. We said that's it, and she said yes. My daughter ordered her bowl. Melila rudely slopped her bowl together, just slopping her stuff down into the bowl. I'm just observing. I'm next. I smile and say I want to start with brown rice and pinto beans please. She ignores me, rolls her eyes, puts on a new pair of gloves, and asks me, "Now what do you want?". Wow, really? Ok. So I repeat "brown rice please." She slops half a spoon in the bowl and then proceeds to stare at me for my next ingredient. I asked for more rice , at least another half a spoon. She then slops another half spoon of rice into the bowl and stares at me. We move down the line. I asked for the red salsa but in a cup on the side, please. She grabs a big spoonful and begins to slop it onto my bowl! I said, "nooooo, in a cup on the side." Now she's really mad. And the way she filled up that cup, with salsa dripping all over the sides making a huge mess, put the lid on it and sat it down. I also ordered some queso n chips. She filled a cup of queso. At the end, by the register, she asked me if I wanted chips. I'm confused. I respond, "I ordered chips n queso." She said, "so you want chips"? And cold stares at me with the rudest look ever. Nothing was said. She operates the register and then walks off. I input my card. I remove my card when the machine tells me to. I'm just standing there. She had proceeded to go grab another set of gloves and just ignored me standing there. She asked the next lady in line what she wanted !! I'm not sure what to do. I lean all the way across the counter to grab my bag of food, then another employee puts the chips in my bag as I am retrieving my food. Nobody says a word. I guess I'm invincible and don't deserve to be treated like a paying customer or, much less even a human being. I proceed to say out loud, " thank you, you're welcome , have a good night, oh thank you, you as well". YES, i was being smart! I walked out as I'm picking my jaw up off the floor. Never in my life have I ever been treated in such a manner, with it being unprovoked. I walked in happy and polite as I always am. Assuming because it was 9:35pm, and she was mad because it was 25 minutes until close. I never griped, complained or asked for an item that I saw was empty. I was content with what I saw available. I have no words . From speaking to others, I hear this is the normal, up in your establishment at this location. I go there often but never 30 minutes before close. I've never been treated like this ever!! I was and am so very appalled. And by the way, none of the food was at temperature. A lot of it was congealed. Not hot. And the cold item, sour cream was hot and runny like water. I'm guessing they turned everything off super early to be able to clean them . I've never had a bad experience at any Chipoltle location until this one. This...
Read moreThis is not the first time I've gone to this Chipotle and had an issue. The girls making the bowls are not always friendly. They don't greet, look irritated, and are hard of hearing. On my last visit it was the second time that I said, "Hello, how are you," and received no response. The first time it happened I excused it, because I had on a mask. I spoke very loudly and even pulled my mask down as I repeated myself. Today again I say, "Hello, how are you?" No response! And there was no excuse, because I did not have on a mask. She then said, "Bowl or burrito "? I was hungry and tired from a long day's work, so I just answered her. Today was the last straw. I saw that the customer before me used almost the last bit of rice. Because I was not in a rush I told the server I did not mind waiting for new rice because it was mushy and the cilantro was brown. She clearly did not have a nice look on her face as she put down the spoon and went to the back. She quickly came back with a new batch of rice. I watched her pull out the old band, set the new been in, and to my dismay pour the old rice on top of the new rice. I know this is a common practice I see servers do this all the time. But when a customer specifically asked for a new fresh item you don't pour the old stuff over top of it!! There was new rice visible on the far end and asked for that. Her reply was "What"? And then I repeated myself saying, "Please give me rice from the far end, and then added, "I asked you for new rice and you poured the old rice on top." I was so irritated! After I firmly said my peace she gave me no more trouble. And that could be because started talking extra clearly at level 10. She finished my bowl with no further issue. The check out was no problem and the cashier was pleasant. . She says that my receipt is in the bag. I drive home , settle in, and finally eat my dinner. While on my phone I checked to see if my points were credited. I see that they are not, and think no worries. If they're not loaded, I'll do it from my receipt. I look in my bag NO RECEIPT!
NO RESPONSE weeks later. I sent it again and over a week later I received a two sentence response saying sorry for the bad experience, we're backed up on responses, and we put a free queso on your...
Read moreI am so disappointed in the service here…I used to love this location because the service was always great and fast. Lately the service has gotten worse each time I walk through the doors. I left instead of waiting to oh for my food because I made it all the way to the register after ordering to find out that I had to order and pay through the app because their credit card machine is down. What made me angry was not the machine being down. I too am a restaurant manager, and have had these issues happen to me. What irritated me to no end was the fact that there is clearly a manager standing up front with four employees (there were maybe 5 customers in the building including myself) and no one bothered to give anyone a heads up about the situation. Maybe let people know as they are walking in that if they are paying with a card they will have to pay through the app instead of waiting in line, giving the whole order, and then finding out at the last minute that we have to go into the app to order. It was bad enough that the two guys working the line had no expression on their faces and looked like they hated working there. I even smiled at one and he just glared at me. I will never come back to this location. Management clearly didn’t care about the situation because he was just leaning against the counter top and looking back and forth. Delegate something! Come up with a plan to solve the issue. I don’t expect the credit card machine to be fixed by the manager but more definitely could have been done to prevent...
