Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food in Fort Worth is a taste of the islands right here in Texas! From the moment I walked in, the amazing atmosphere transported me to a relaxed and inviting setting, complete with thoughtful decor that truly captures the spirit of aloha. I even noticed a neat card explaining the "Shaka" sign – that classic hand gesture symbolizing aloha, happiness, friendship, and taking it easy. It was a cool little detail that added to the genuine island vibe. Adding to the ambiance were beautiful photographs adorning the walls, including a captivating shot of a surfer riding a vibrant green wave and other stunning images of powerful ocean waves and serene Hawaiian landscapes. There was even a wonderful piece of artwork featuring a silhouette of a hand making the Shaka sign against a breathtaking sunset over the ocean – a perfect photo opportunity that truly embodies the spirit of aloha! What truly resonated with me was the "Mo'olelo - Our Story" displayed on the wall, sharing the heartfelt inspiration behind Mo' Bettahs. It spoke of family, 'ohana, and the tradition of cooking with real aloha, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and well-fed. Signed by Kimo and Kalani Mack, it's clear that this restaurant is built on a foundation of love for good food and the spirit of Hawaiian hospitality. To complete the island experience, I also enjoyed a refreshing can of Hawaiian Sun Strawberry Guava Nectar – a taste of pure tropical goodness that perfectly complemented my meal. And the food? Absolutely ono (delicious)! We ordered the teriyaki chicken and steak combo, and it was a feast for the senses. The chicken and steak were both incredibly tender and flavorful, perfectly marinated in that classic teriyaki sauce. The mac salad was creamy and delicious, and the fresh veggies added a vibrant crunch and balance to the meal. The portion sizes are incredibly generous – I was able to enjoy the amazing food all day long! It's definitely a great value for the quality and quantity you receive. Based on the photos, the presentation is also fantastic, with colorful and appetizing dishes that make you want to dig right in. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Hawaiian food, with large portions, a fantastic and culturally rich atmosphere enhanced by details like the Shaka explanation, the beautiful sea turtle artwork, captivating surfing and ocean photography, a heartwarming story that speaks to the true meaning of aloha, the delightful taste of Hawaiian Sun beverages, and even fun photo opportunities that perfectly capture the island spirit, Mo' Bettahs in Fort Worth is a must-try! The spirit of aloha is definitely present in every aspect, and I highly recommend it.

I hate to do this, but I have been left with no choice but to do so. On Saturday 2/15/2025, My wife stopped by to pick up some Mo'Bettahs for my family and I, and well this is what occurred... Uncooked Chicken??? I just don't understand??? This is not something to be taken lightly as this could get someone sick. We really really enjoy this place, but why does Mo'Bettahs keep doing me this way??? This is the third time?!? The cooks need to understand the responsibility behind serving food to the public... especially food they are having to cook that is raw. Management Team, please, We Need Answers... Also, when I have tried to contact your establishment (via phone) several times (during business hours) to communicate these concerns, why is no one answering the phone??? The last time this happened to me, the same thing, I called and no response?? And well, sometimes not wanting to deal with the hassle of complaining about something you want to just enjoy, I chose to let it go... But it is not okay. I have done everything a loyal and grateful customer should do. I have continuously visited your establishment and not just given you my business, but have referred so many people to your location, with receipts to show for it. This is unacceptable though. I truly hope something will be done about this. I hope to hear back from someone. And to anyone reading this review, please understand, I am only giving a 1 star because this is not the first time this has happened... The food here is delicious, but it is obviously so hard to enjoy when it is not being cooked thoroughly or properly. I hope this hasn't happened to anyone else. 😮‍💨 Please Mo'Bettahs management and staff, let's fix this.

I have only ordered twice through the drive through so can't rate the atmosphere. Coming from Las Vegas and eating lots of Hawaiian food there I can say this place is the closest I have found in Texas. The first time I tried the two item plate of Teriyaki chicken and Pulled pork and it was pretty good. The last time I ordered the spicy chicken plate off the favorites menu and it was incredible. You get one serving of Teriyaki chicken and one serving of chicken katsu. Both come with your choice of dipping sauces and as the name implies I went with the spicy mayo for the katsu and the spicy yeobo sauce for the teriyaki chicken. The yeobo sauce is a tad bit salty for my taste but it is still good. I think the first impression is the quantity of food you get for the price point is incredible with today's pricing. For $13.99 you get a box FULL of yummy food. Keep up the good work and portion sizes and I will be there weekly 🙂

Me and my husband were anticipating the opening of this restaurant for awhile. After about a month of them being open we decided to go and try them with our youngest son (who is 1). We got the Finau Favorite, my husband got a regular plate with the pulled chicken and the teriyaki chicken I believe, and we got our baby a kids meal with pulehu chicken. We came on a Friday night so it was probably the busiest it was at the time that we got there and went through the line. There were people there who were there before us who were waiting on food, not unusual. And a few customers even went up to the counter to ask about their food status while me and my husband and toddler were sitting and waiting. First off let me say, I feel like there is a general stereotype over teenagers and kids/young adults who work in food/fast food, but there was NOT A SINGLE employee in there who wouldn’t absolutely do whatever it was we wanted or needed. They were obviously busy, but for the volume of people, the type of people and the general stress of running a kitchen all of the employees were extremely respectful, and extremely willing to be the customer service providing face of Mo Bettah’s. We did wait probably 10 or so minutes? And a young man who was working both the drive thru and the sit down guest counter CAME TO OUR TABLE and handed us our food. This young man was extremely kind and I hate that I did not read his name tag but he explained that he was apologetic about our food delay, that he was trying to train somebody else on the grill. We told him that it was not a problem, and confirmed that they just opened and the kinks always take a little time to work themselves out. As flustered as he was, he was extremely calm with every person he spoke with, professional and very polite. Another young lady who brought my husbands food (because he added a side of shrimp) ALSO was so kind to realize that he had this extra side and brought it back out to our table. The food was great! There was no surprise there, we had tempura shrimp, their house juice and masubi along with our entrees and it was all amazing! The portions were also huge, so this meal was about 2-3 meals for us. Even though the food was great, the customer service provided by these young adults was absolutely immaculate and Mo Bettah’s will absolutely be keeping me...
