Ostara Coffee — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I personally would never go back. My friends and took visited and the menu is limited and they had ran out of some of the ingredients for the drinks. My friend ordered the strawberry spritz+ matcha foam from the summer menu and they were out of the spritz, the barista told her the drink would still be pink(it was not) she paid $10+ for it, mind you the cups are considered a medium size. My other friend got the chocolate mocha cold brew and she said it tasted bitter as if the coffee was burnt. I chose to get a regular matcha latte and I wanted it to be sweetened so I asked the barista what sweeteners they had she didn’t answer the question and just said honey and cinnamon but didn’t list others so I’m guessing that’s the only type of sweetener they had. The atmosphere was a bit confusing it’s a pretty open space but most of it is taken up by a bunch of boxes(idk if they just opened or maybe they are changing things up) and they have a few tables that you can sit at but not many to...

I was so excited to try this place as I had been planning to come here for days. I saw it on TikTok, it looked so cute and so did the drinks. When I ordered I felt as if I was bothering them, which is so weird because I wasn’t being rude, loud, picky or anything, I was simply just ordering. When the drink came out, the strawberry cold foam did not look like it was in the pictures, and when my friend asked if we got the right cold foam, the barista was very cold and short when all we wanted to do was make sure we had the right drink. We didn’t complain, we just took the drink as is. Also talked with another friend that tried the place out and said she felt the same vibe with the baristas being cold towards them for no reason. I would not go back for several reasons. First, three drinks for almost $30 is a high price for me. My salted caramel drink was very watered down, and the matcha drinks weren’t great either. When I arrived, I mentioned it was my first time there, but the staff member didn’t offer any recommendations she just walked away. From the start, the experience wasn’t great. I feel like this place has a lot of potential, but it’s definitely not what I was expecting. I travel all around DFW and to different states searching for the best coffee, and unfortunately, I don’t believe this is it.
