Nope.... don't go here. Worst quality food I have had at a Panera Bread, and management is a joke.
I used to eat here all of the time, but they messed up my food more times than they got it right (including spoiled salad mix). Tonight i decided to go back, but get a steak sandwhich... i drove 15 minutes home to find out they left the meat off! I called and was told I needed to come back and would get a free drink for the trouble (not much of an offer). I drove back, told the staff the mix up, and they didn't even offer me a water while I waited, nor did they provide any compensation for the trouble or a manager.
I requested a manager, who I could instantly tell didn't really even care. Apparently this was the same person that offered me a free drink on the phone. He came to me, asked if I was the lady with the messed up sandwhich, and said "what can I do for you?" I explained how my food always gets messed up at this branch, and was very unhappy that the staff didn't notify a manager about the mixup, nor was I offered any type of compensation for the trouble. The gentleman then informed me that he was a new manager and couldn't help with past events. He then just told me he could reimburse for the food (unfortunately not getting the point that the situation wasn't about money, but terrible service). I went on to explain that the quality of food and the experience at Panera in the East Coast is exceptional, but this place is very poor. The manager just said he was new and has no insight on what the issue might be.... I told him i would like reimbursement for the food, and made the decision that i would rather eat somewhere else at this point (handing him the sandwhich). The guy just grabbed the food and dunked it in the trash next to me!!! He reimbursed me offering free pastries and drinks, but at that point, they completely turned me off. I will never go to this branch again!
If you are wanting the brand, avoid this place, as the whole joint is in really bad working condition. 🤷♀️
I am in school for a management/marketing degree, and have taken a lot of classes in consumers, businesses, and services. It is not about the money, it is all about the experience... and when there is a gap, it is the job of a good company and manager to fix that gap and make it right, but when there is a lack of empathy from even the manager, you start losing clientele.
Here are some ideas: -if a customer has a messed up order and is home, why not offer delivery to make up for the issue? -employees should instantly notify a manager if a customer has a bum order -if a customer complains of continued issues with branch, manager should take down the employee's information and contact corporate -with a customer that mentioned several store visits, that would tell me they are pretty loyal to the brand, and are a top investment to the company. How do i keep them, and make up for a bad situation? -customer complains of issue with order, as do other reviews on Google. How can I do a full inspection of the food making process, and is there training I can put employees through to fix...
Read moreWe (my husband and I) are business owners in Fort Worth. Operating companies and real estate. We hold a monthly business unit meetings with our staff where we specifically shut down operations for 2 hours to work on the business versus in the business and this is done with our staff.
We bring lunch in for everyone during the meeting. Twice we have place orders hours before our meeting from Panera. Yesterday being the last time. Both times they have gotten our orders to us late - very late, and without notice. The first time the order was wrong. We decided to give them another try yesterday and here is our experience.
Order placed at 10 am for a 12:00 pm pick up, for a 12:30 lunch and meet.
Diana arrived to pick up our order and was asked to wait.
Wait because they had “run out of bread” - of course nobody told her this instead “just wait.”
Lizzy, inside the office called after Diana had waited and waited with no word of when our order would be ready and that’s when we learned they had early “run out of bread”. Whomever delivered this message was snappy and rude - treating the customer as if we had someone done something wrong and how dare we ask about what is going on.
A call to let us know would have been appropriate or letting us know when we placed the order in the first place so we could have made the choice to place the order with them or place it elsewhere. Nope we didn’t get that option.
Diana watches as patrons inside Panera place orders (with bread) and have their orders filled.
Putting an end to this long story and horrible customer service experience - our meeting started late, our food marginal and the service horrible. Whomever is running this operation I’m not sure how your store remains in business other than location, location, location. Two...
Read moreThe food was outstanding however, I called at 6:30 am and a rep answered. It was the first time at Paneras and asked about the price of a particular sandwich. She told me and she said on Sundays(this WAS a Sunday), they open at 7am. I asked if I could BUY the sandwich I inquired about. She told me you can buy anything but SOUPS so I headed that way. They were 4 minutes late opening the door/a lady was waiting with me stating that the are always late last time was 10 minutes before opening door. There was a black girl, no name tag, acted like I was an inconvenience and told me they only do breakfast till 11. I told her that the paneras rep just told me anything but soups and she said No! I turned towards the door as I had driven quite a ways to get to Hulen and the lady that was waiting outside with me said “the rep was right! Anything but soup!” I came back and the angry girl huffed to the back and spoke to someone, then came back and said what do you want? I told her what I wanted and she said have her full just real rude I said full she said you want a receipt I said definitely. She hit me my receipt and she goes go down there and get your food. She was very rude. As I left, I went to her and I said you know attitudes are contagious and yours is not worth catching....
