My wife and I have been going to this location for over 20 years and have never been treated the way my wife was treated Sunday in front of my girls. My wife went in Sunday after the air show with my daughters and son in law as she always does she asked for a specific waitress/ waiter, was proceeded to be told that he was in by the hosted at the time, so as he went to go fine the server my wife asked for, Dawn ( manager ) came to my wife and tried to seat my family, my wife asked her to see if the server was available, considering the first hostess had not returned, Dawn rudely replied with “he’s off” as my wife went to try to explain to her that the previous hostess said he was there and went to find him, before my wife could even get that out of her mouth Dawn (manager) replied “He’s off!!!!” My wife with a confused look on her face sees the server she was asking for walk right up to her and give her a hug and greet my children, and the server told my wife in Spanish he had just clocked out. My wife replied “no worries maybe next time” Dawn with an annoyed look on her faces seated my wife and kids, and walked away, she began to explain to my oldest daughter about the Dawn the managers Attitude, she replied to my wife “why was she yelling at you like that?” With my wife having that conformation that she was not the only one that thought Dawn was being rude, my wife took the time out to go to the front and approached pull the “ “Manager” Dawn aside to express her concerns about what happened , she spoke to her with empty taking into consideration it was busy time for Riskys . Dawn automatically was annoyed, bothered, and proceeded to say she wasn’t yelling at my wife. And my wife proceeded to try to explain to her what she didn’t see I the beginning and mid sentence, Dawn told my wife that she needed to dine somewhere else. My wife visibly upset asked for management, she proceeded to pound her chest with a smile on her face said “I am the manager” my wife asked Dawn for upper supervisor and dawn replied “you need to leave “ instead of acknowledging and addressing the situation, my wife went back to where they were seated with my family waiting on information for upper management, and instead Dawn asked all employees to ignore them, the second time my wife went up to try to address and fix the situation, Dawn, ignored her, and completely disregarded anything that she was saying, so my wife finally raises her voice and to get the information and attention she needed, Dawn decided to call the police on my wife for “being aggressive “ mind you my wife did not record when Dawn was being rude and unprofessional towards my wife and kids, but the moment she noticed my wife recording Dawn changed her whole demeanor towards my Wife. My wife waited 20min. in the parking lot for an officer to arrive and the didn’t show up, so she left. The following Monday she spoke with some one name Patti at the Azle location to try to fix the situation due to the fact that we have dined there for years, and sometimes more than once a week, have had retirement dinners and Graduations, and birthdays for my kids and family. My Wife was told Patti would look at the cameras at that location and speak with employees. Today 4/18/2024 Patti told my wife she was “Banned” from that location “for now” Did not give my wife a time frame They said cops had trespassed her!? With none of her information available to them? Most importantly didn’t bother to Ask my wife or my daughter and son in law for a statement before making a decision. And of course all employees are going to side with the Dawn, who wants to be on their manager bad side? I wish this was resolved differently with management and not it be one sided. Read moreI sent a Facebook messenger devoting of my experience on 7/24/22. No response. So now I'm sharing with everyone. Oh, 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Spoiler: I never tried the food.
I went to the Camp Bowie location today, 7/24/22, for a late lunch, around 1:30. My party, 2, was seated promptly. The restaurant was about 1/2 full. The server took our drink order and, seeing we had not yet decided we he brought a water and a tea, said he'd give us a few minutes. He gave 10. Yes, 10 minutes. We saw him strolling around (he was moving in a very unhurried manner, unlike other servers we saw) but it took a very long time for him to take our order even though we'd put our menus on the table. We ordered an app to share and a basket each. About 15 minutes later, another person in a blue shirt asked if we'd be seen. We said yes, and we were still waiting on our appetizer. He passed by our booth a few more times. 5 minutes after the first contact, we stopped him and asked again and he said something about the kitchen but offered no time estimate so we asked to see the manager. The manager came quickly. We asked when we could expect our food. He spread his hands in a dismissive gesture, laughed, and said "we're busy." By then, well under half full. We said we would like to pay for the ice tea we'd received and were leaving. He told us not to worry about the tea, so we immediately left. Easily the most disrespectful encounter I've ever had. We were not rude and did not use any disrespectful language. When we asked why it was taking so long for an appetizer (onion strings), your manager blew us off and laughed in our faces. Rodeo Goat got our money instead.

Read moreGreat BBQ!!! Not spicy. Excellent BBQ sauce. Green beans are from a can, polluted with black pepper and chopped onions. They do put some ham pieces in them, but not enough to say "Oh, there's ham in there." A lot of fried sides as well. I have repeatedly asked for, through their website, review cards, and managers for sweet potatoes or sweet potato fries to no avail (employees have wanted it too).
