Ties To the Past Antiques — Local services in Fort Worth

I don’t recommended this place anymore. It’s unfortunate I have some amazing finds over the years and have spent a lot of money in the past. We just left after my husband overheard the woman who has a lot of booths in there tell the gentleman at the front that I was being a pain in the “a**” for asking about a discount on another woman’s booth (which she also stated herself that the other woman’s prices were expensive). I was buying a jacket from the woman who said that already at that point for my daughter. I left not buying anything ($200 in sales). This place has gone down and down and down, but officially is DONE as far as customer experience. I won’t ever be going back. Think twice about going as well. Read the last review on here from the other person’s experience who was there in the last two months.

In response to your reply…. The story was told and your staff got caught by my husband around the corner from your cash register talking about a customer. I was not being difficult or causing a challenge at all. We had walked the whole store and in fact were in conversations with some of your nicer staff. Your reputation in the community proceeds itself and your reviews being left plus your reply’s are enough to tell anyone what is really wrong. I hope you can figure it out....

Honestly. this place is better than seeing clearfork santa claus. not even kidding, i could maybe graduate will a medical degree by the time i have looked through everything there. Also what are these comments, they’re antiques and collectibles, it’s not goodwill. if you want your ‘vInTAgE HiGh VaLuE ChINa’ i assure you amazon won’t be as authentic as this place. The shop owner doesn’t follow you around, they’re there to help you, they don’t think you’re weird, not everything is about you (😒). i would go to war for this place, the actual shop owner is hilarious. on a daily basis i will read through how they they respond to the reviews🎷🐛. But, if you are a collector, i do recommend checking this place out. i went through a phase where i collected Pillsbury doughboys, i found 11 in under 25 minutes. there’s also some really cool decor and clothes!! 1/4 my room=amazon. 3/4 my room = this awesome place. the service and staff are great! they pointed me in the right direction and gave me some very good advice. love you guys and this place so much

honestly just sad how the owners and management treat people of color and alternative people, i used to come here all the time when i was younger with my grandma and it was honestly such a nice childhood memory. i’ve gone there recently and have been followed each time for absolutely no reason other than the fact that me and my partner are alternative. We’re super respectful each time and never stay longer than 15 minutes because within the first 10 there’s already someone following us. and seeing all the owners responses to the one star reviews is just really telling of their morals/mindset towards people who are presenting actual issues and they’re met with “well dont come back” when they’re clearly the problem, calling people petty when they respond with petty remarks to those reviews instead of fixing the issue. especially the straight inconsistency with their responses to people just makes them look childish and unprofessional. idk if they changed owners/ management within the past 2-4 years but it’s honestly just sad to see how much it fell off. definetly need knew owners asap. if i could give a zero star review i would but unfortunately that’s not...
