Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Fort Worth

UPDATE: Since I posted the original review this scooters has gotten new employees, and I REALLY WISH they would train their employees. We're constantly having orders wrong, putting whipped cream on coffees that we specifically state NO whip, but that also don't have dairy milk. And most of the time they don't even make a new coffee, they just scoop the whip off so there is still whip cream in the coffee. If I'm dairy free, I'm dairy free. That means NO WHIP CREAM. I'm lucky it just makes me have horrible stomach cramps and it's not an actual allergy, because this could be so dangerous for the person. Please properly correct your mistakes.

I'm really upset that we come out here just to constantly be given the wrong orders and to have the people at the window act annoyed that we want our correct order.

On top of that their system is ALWAYS down. And you can only manually type in your points on their app four times. So we just constantly miss out on the rewards they always promise. I miss when it was good.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love that it's a drive through because it makes it a million times easier to access when I'm in a hurry. Their drive through menu is large and easier to read than a lot of others.

The staff have been nothing but patient and kind with us as we have a crying baby in the back, or our kids constantly changing what order they want, etc. They always answer any questions we have and never seem annoyed or impatient.

As for the coffee? Best coffee I've ever had. The coffee itself is delicious with a nutty taste and then the flavorings just add that extra flavor. They've even forgotten to put the vanilla in my latte once and I didn't care because the coffee itself is delicious. But the autumn crunch is the best flavor I've ever had. I never want them to get rid of it. It makes me dream of stormy days with orange and yellow leaves and cool Temps. It's perfect.

I really wanted to like this place as it provided more breakfast options for my kiddo and I on the way to work and school.

I've seen a very rapid decline in quality and service over the course of the last month since we first discovered this little place.

This mornings experience (845am) was bad enough I've decided to change my initial posistive review.

The equipment used to prepare food is obviously filthy. The amount of burnt debris on everything we ordered this morning was enough to toss the food and get breakfast elsewhere. Given this was 845am not sure how it's this dirty unless not cleaned prior to service today. We ordered 4 food items, all trashed.

Pretzel bites: Hard as a rock and obviously been reheated. So not edible. My kid who will eat pretty much anything refused them.

Bacon burrito: Looks like a half a normal size burrito that's been dropped on the floor, smeared around, stepped on and shoved in bag. It looks like they used it to clean the oven. So trash.

Bacon egg bites: Also covered in the same burned debris that's all over the other foods.

The window person: not smiling, not friendly, seemed angry I asked for more napkins and a bag to put all the little bags in. We were initially given ONE napkin for 2 drinks and 4 food items.

I do hope they sort these kind of issues out before they turn off more customers. For us we will go back to old regular breakfast stop until this place gets...

EDIT UPDATE: Sadly I am taking the 5 star review to a 3 star because I value honesty. They told me they brew the lemonade and it's not always consistent, so they would check with the manufacturer. I had several that were essentially, lemon water. They did offer a new one that tasted like the same lemon water I just bought and gave me an expired, half off coupon.

I would take my chance anyway because it was only occasionally that I would get a bad one, and the good, were great. Then I got 3 duds in a row, and unflavored smoothies and I gave up. I haven't been there in a month and probably won't be back. I gave 3 stars because of the friendly service everytime I went. The only thing that wasn't watered down, lol.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I only tried Scooters last week, but have ordered several times now. The drinks are delicious! The coffee was so good and the smoothies are outstanding. My favorite is the lemonade. It is fresh tasting with the perfect combination of sweet and sour. I will be getting this all summer and add flavors to it.

Customer service was excellent each time I have been there. They were patient while I navigated through the menu and had a kind smile waiting for me at the window. I haven't tried the food but really I just wanted refreshing drinks to fight the Texas heat. I...
