The Paradox Church — Attraction in Fort Worth

Listened to this church on their app to begin with. My daughter and her husband go here. The series on Revelations revealed certain things about this church. #1 - They exalt Christ over any person. #2. They preach from the Bible with little distraction. #3. They encourage daily seeking of God through reading the Bible. These are all things which I believe every church should embrace. I visited for the actual church for the first time on August 20. I was a little overwhelmed at all of the people and felt a bit out of place because I am older. After the sermon I had a time with God which left me in tears and two of the women in the congregation comforted me with compassion and promise of intercessory prayer. One of the women, Anna, had only visited the church for the second time that day and she was so dear. This church has the presence of God and it may take a while for me to feel like I fit in but that is a me thing, it has nothing to do with this church. I have never enjoyed praise and worship without checking my watch to see when it would be over. And in this church I wanted it...

Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate Mothers and family. 1st time there so disappointed, started off good but turns out just another money hungry church! Why oh why would you talk about money when so many people go to church with their mom on that special day! My old church in Oregon celebrated moms not … $$. Attended for Easter service today after driving by the newly built building thinking wow that’s beautiful I’d like to try that church. The pastor was a breath of fresh air and I loved the words he spoke today. Loved the band and the fact that they had a song in Spanish. The little coffee shop was a great addition. My family and I will be making this our new home. Can’t wait for next...
