I love sonic (so much I used to work at one) but my latest visit completely infuriated me. When I come to Sonic I come with enough time extra because I know it takes a minute when food is fresh and this location is usually fairly busy. Well on this day I came and like normal there was a line which was expected like I said. We waited gave our order and waited in line like everyone else. When it became our turn at the window a Miss Maria took my payment gave me back my card then went on about what she was doing. Well after a couple minutes she walks out the side door to assist the person behind me with their drink order, fine (mind you I still have not gotten my drink). While she is out a young man expedites my food and places it on the counter next to the register by the window. Shortly after he walks away the bag of food tips over and falls on the floor. Now miss Maria comes back in and sees the food on the floor, at this point she faces the young man whit her back to the window and proceeds to tell him something. He then goes out of site, a moment after he comes from around the counter with the bad of food and hands it to Maria. She then proceeded to put napkins and such in the bag like nothing ever happened thinking I did not see the events unfold with my food right there through the drive thru window. She then came to bring me my food so I confronted her about it and asked to speak to a manager. She then told me she was the manager on duty. At that point I did not want the food remade because God only knows what would of happened when I couldn't see. I am very understanding so if she would of come to the window and been honest about the situation I would of not been upset as only the bag hit the floor not really the food (although it was smashed inside the bag) but instead of handling it properly she choose to assume that I'm not very smart i guess as she thought she could pull a fast one. Read moreMy husband and I, went to this location tonight not only was the staff inattentive but they were Incredibly rude, and careless. Both with talking to us through the intercom , and bringing our food out to us. The female employee that brought us our food was rude and barely said anything to make sure we got the right order. We got home to eat only to discover that the large popcorn chicken we had received was extremely over cooked, it is so hard that when you pick it up it crumbled into pieces. Just like my respect for sonic. The jalapeño poppers were undercooked and soggy, and the mozzarella sticks were also over cooked to the point the cheese wasn’t even stringy anymore. The only thing that came out good were our drinks. At this point it was the biggest waste of $30 We have ever spent. Like yea it’s sonic not some gourmet place but still, every corporation should care about food quality and employee productivity. Sorry Sonic , but you’ve forever lost my business unless you learn to train your employees in customer service and fix the way your food goes...
Read more8/16/24-I reached out to Sonic HQ about my poor experiences at this location. Sonic HQ Customer Service is either completely incompetent or is purposely giving me the run around so I will drop my complaint. it is all automated email responses asking me for the same details over and over with no resolution at all. It is clear that Sonic has no interest in resolving their customer service issues. There are multiple poor reviews and yet nothing changes. Instead they give customers the run around until they drop their complaint.
8/14/24- This Sonic is absolutely horrible. They continue to get orders wrong in the drive through. Once they didn't even put bacon on my BLT. The Coke always tastes wrong. After I got home this morning and yet another wrong item in my order, I am done with this Sonic. AVOID THIS LOCATION!
Old review from about a year ago - Slow service, even when noone else in line. Always have to repeat order. Credit Card pay not offered most times and have to give card to employee. Steady decline over the last year and no improvements it...
