Spurs Gelato — Restaurant in Fort Worth

The person who gave this place one star because of rubber in their food should’ve brought it to the attention of the store, but didn’t. I’m guessing it was fabricated. Clicking on this reviewer shows they are nothing but a complainer. Pretty much nothing but bad reviews for every business they go to. Reading the reviews, she had very good experiences (where were those reviews?) then had one bad experience and posted all about it. Take their review with a grain a of salt.

My wife and son brought me here for a Father’s Day treat, and it did not disappoint. Very fresh strawberry gelato and a strawberry mango smoothie for me put me on the streets of Italy in my mind. In speaking with the staff, the owner went to school in Italy to perfect this and it is definitely reflected. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

My husband and I went here for the first time tonight & it was delicious gelato! We fell in love with Gelato in Italy and haven’t found a good version of that until this place. In addition to it being great gelato, the employee, Renato, had great customer service! He was so polite, told us about the gelato flavors and was very friendly. I told him that I owned a business and appreciate employees who have great customer service. I asked him if he would as the owner because of how good his service was and he said he wasn’t and was just an employee. So for the owner, you have a great employee in Renato! The one thing that's most important to note, please pay attention when ordering with a card at the tip amount. We spent 8 dollars on two little cups and the 15% tip suggested a 10 dollar tip, as 20% and 25% were even higher. Luckily I always double check the suggested tip amounts at places.

Wanted to love it but we were not very impressed. I tried all the flavors pretty much and felt bad that I didn't really like any of them, so ordered a watermelon one anyways, which went in the trash.
