This place has been changing lives since before it was Lifestyle Christianity. My wife and son went to the first Power & Love conference they held here, when it was still Harvest Church. When she came home telling me about their experience that Saturday night, I probably rolled my eyes as she spoke. I was thinking, "Oh, Brother! Please, God, not my wife!" I have read the news articles and seen the fake preachers on YouTube. I was embarrassed that my wife would fall victim to such an obvious scheme. I've seen the people falling on the ground and shaking like bacon frying in the pan. I judged them as being fake because that's who I was. I called myself a Christian, but that's the only way you could associate me with Christianity. You would almost never see Jesus in my actions. I was like so many Christians who say they believe Jesus is the Son of God but don't study the words He spoke or make a real effort to live the way He instructed us to live. I was a "REAL" Christian, just like everyone else who goes to church every Sunday and tithes but neglects the more important matters. My embarrassment for her didn't last long. My son and wife had witnessed something I knew was real. The experience was so powerful that it changed our entire family overnight. I went from being embarrassed for her believing she had felt The Power of The Holy Spirit to being embarrassed for calling myself a Christian. The first time I went to a Power & Love conference, there were people outside protesting, calling the pastor a fake, believing THEY were the REAL Christians. More than 7 years later, 2 of our daughters attend Lifestyle Christianity University. We went to a Power and Love conference last night and there were no protesters. Instead, you now see young adults intentionally going out to encounter people in the community, not with bullhorns, with blessings. I attribute this to the impact Lifestyle Christianity has made on the community by helping "real" Christians have a REAL encounter with...
Read moreI learned about Todd in an unusual way. On October 24th 2018 my family literally walked out. It might have had something to do with me standing in the middle of our kitchen table shouting how sick I was of the drinking the smoking and the marijuana use and the dab/ concentrate habit and 20 year fight to keep me from the pulpit. The next morning everyone left. On November 1st I was watching daystar in the evening searching for an answer and there was this dude with dreadlocks talking about God and how Jesus Christ loves me and forgives me. And his message was spot on. I woubd up on my knees in my kitchen floor praying with this man I didn't know and in an instant I was set free of all the addiction and guilt, shame and condemnation. I was free ! I later learned his name was Todd White, I started watching him on YouTube and through him I learned who Dan Mohler was and I started watching him too! Here it is October 22nd and on Thursday when I preach at Restoration church in Cleburne Texas I receive my ministers license. Thank you Todd White for the difference you made in my life! You and Dan Mohler both! ! I'm free of me and that's the...
Read moreLifestyle Christianity University (LCU) in Watauga, Texas, is truly an exceptional institution. This isn't just a church or a ministry school; it's a transformative experience. A person very dear to me embarked on their two-year course journey here, and the change in them has been profound. Their faith has not just grown; it has thrived. They've come into their own, discovering and embracing their identity in Christ in ways that are deeply inspiring. Under the guidance of Todd and Jackie White, who are genuinely authentic in their ministry and teachings, this place offers more than education—it offers a life-changing journey. Witnessing someone close to me evolve and deepen their faith through LCU's program has been nothing short of miraculous. It's clear that LCU is dedicated to nurturing not just knowledgeable students, but true...
