We've been church searching for about a year now. I've been to this church 4 times so far. The things on our must have list when searching... Worship time at LEAST 3 songs but up to 5 songs is ideal, to help with leading into the message. They meet this with phenomenal worship, also including an oldie but goody, even occasional hymns! It's "too loud" for my elderly father who wears a hearing aid, but the rest of us, including my 83 year old mother, LOVE the worship that is delivered! 2. Bible grounded messages. This church meets it! Both pastors keep the congregation awake and engaged. 3. Greeting your neighbors is a soft entry to getting to know your church community without going out of your way or personal schedule (by joining private groups), but I find this an important part of church, which not all churches do... They do this, but may skip it every once in a while if they need to replace the (30 second time frame) with a video or so (hoping they never take away greeting one another). 4. Kids church. Our kids are now adults, but we did have my brother visit with 2 of his kids, age 3&7. Their classes are sectioned out by age group. Sticker system to identify children with parents and contact info on the system. We didn't look ahead to know that they have an ONLINE registration that we could have had them complete the night before. Unfortunately there was a wifi issue and we had to do the registration twice that morning, which I was nervous my sister in law was going to miss all of worship. We managed to catch the last song. The church we almost settled with did not include (alter calls) to accept Jesus as your personal Savior (they offered it as an option AFTER the church ends), well the House offers it each service before the service ends. Closing the service with one last worship song. Unfortunately they don't do this here. Ways to consider adding this is to perhaps record a rehearsal session and play it as we exit for the next service members to enter. Another option is to sing just one minute of a chorus and then call it a day. It just seems like something is missing and we have to rush out. So far we love this church the most and we will...
Read moreIf you’ve been thinking about attending the house Fort Worth, it’s not a thought anymore- you must do. You’ll never know unless you walk in to see for yourself. I was invited to the house April 2023. Not going to lie I was a little nervous because I grew up catholic. Since the first day I walked into the church i immediately felt a sense of peace . I was confused why it felt like a concert though. Come to learn that’s called WORSHIP and we get to PRAISE the lord- OUTLOUD. That wasn’t where I made it my “home” though. I attended for about 6 months and still wasn’t making it my home. It was me holding myself back, for what though? I needed to be ALL in! So where I finally made it my home— was when the parking team noticed one day I didn’t bring my kids. “Hey, where’s your crew? You usually bring all the kids, it’s just you today?” And that’s when I smiled, almost wanted to cry that they actually noticed. Out of all the hundreds of people that attend every Sunday, they actually noticed MY kids and I. My husband was the type to not want to go to church. He called it “that’s your thing but not for me” want to know what happened? He told me for my Christmas present he would come to church with me “twice” that “twice” turned into every Sunday. GOD did that. Fast forward to January of 2024 I was baptized during miracle week. The best experience it was like the cherry on TOP. Slowly but surely I’ve had friends and family join me and make it their home too. I never bothered to read the Bible or better yet own one. Now I have THREE it’s like my new addiction. The best addiction I must say. I am forever thankful for the house and the foundation they have built to help redirect those who need to allow Jesus in their life. I was one of those people. Thank you, sincerely a proud member of the...
Read moreThis church is HOME! We’ve been attending 6 years! You feel God’s power, love and presence from the moment you pull up. For one, the authenticity of love is amazing. It starts from the smiles and waves you get from the parking lot team and it continues as you walk to the building. The greeters are very kind, and welcoming. The worship is pretty awesome too! I love seeing a diversity of people old and young praising the Lord together in unity. The pastor and his wife are also very warm and authentic. A few times Pastor Lindsey has held her son in her arms while giving announcements. I’m a mom and that’s just real life. For me, that touches my heart to see that. Then when Pastor Micah preaches it so powerful, he holds nothing back, it’s TRUTH, but with LOVE. It’s amazes me how his sermons can speak to ALL generations. His funny sense of humor is just an added bonus. There’s no denying his passion for the lost is genuine. Every sermon it’s like he’s on a mission to reach the hearts and minds of each individual. He points people back to Jesus. I also love the fact that he takes time to shake hands and thank people for coming, sadly that is rare nowadays. Then to top it off, my kids love children’s church. They don’t ever want to leave, they always talk about what they’ve learned. Every teacher/helper has shown nothing but love to my kids. I have peace knowing my kids are being spiritual fed and are well taken care of. This church was an answered prayer for our family. God is definitely here and He’s doing something amazing! We are so blessed to be part of it. So If you are looking for a church that loves genuinely, speaks boldly in God’s Word , and has a heart to reach the community then I recommend you come visit The House Fort Worth. They truly make you feel...
