I came into this location 11/08. Their registers were having issues, and no one really knew how to fix it. They double charged me $164.16 (x 2 = $328.32) when I only walked out with $164.16 worth of items. I even showed the cashier the transaction showing it had gone through on my bank's end the first time, but the manager or lead cashier or whatever he was wouldn't accept that. So they charged me again, said it probably wouldn't go through entirely since it was a pending transaction and the system had timed out on their end, and sent me on my way. Well five days later the charge finally moved out of pending and lo and behold, was an actual charge.
So now I had to open a dispute with the bank, who says they're waiting on a response from the merchant, and it may be JANUARY before it is resolved. Oh, and this issue had happened with another shopper that day, around the same time as mine, which they told me after they had double charged me. This was after ringing up 3 times at one register, switching to another, and being rung up another 2 times at a third register.
I should have walked out. I will not be shopping at any of their stores or their website any longer.
So basically they stole $164.16 that was supposed to go towards Christmas for my...
Read moreI was followed around and belittled by store employee for wearing a psychology shirt from my university. When I walked into the store, she began laughing and talking about my shirt. Initially I thought she was just trying to engage in conversation, so I didn't think much of it - regardless of how odd she was acting (following me around as I tried to disengage from the conversation). I brushed it off and moved on. I ran into her again as I was browsing the store and she asked me what plans I have after getting my degree, as she explained my degree is useless by itself. She rattled off some anecdotes in an attempt to belittle me for my degree choice as I'm trying to shop and would not leave me alone. It was incredibly weird and unprofessional, by far the most odd interaction I've ever had with a store employee. I felt very uncomfortable during my...
Read moreProbably best not to buy any food here. I bought Buldak noodles and made a packet as soon as I got home, and luckily before I mixed in the sauce/started eating I noticed there was a bug in the noodles. Then a few days later I went to wrap the coffee grounds I bought the same day I bought the noodles as it was supposed to be a gift for someone, just to notice the best by date on the coffee grounds was 12/14/23. I bought them on 12/17/23. Although it’s not an expiration date, it still seems off putting to sell something 3 days past its best by date, especially after my experience with the noodle bug. I also bought the jalapeño pepper cheese and, while there was no bugs and it’s not past its expiration date, it...
