I emailed this over a week ago, with the lack of response solidifies the lack of care for customer satisfaction and food safety. My family and I frequent this location, monthly since your opening about 5/6 years ago. We always love the service, atmosphere and most importantly the food.
Today was a very different story, unfortunately. I asked to be seated with my son on the patio as it was a very nice day for dining on the patio. The cushions were filthy. We manually brushed off what we could without causing a scene to the staff sitting us.
As we sat there for a few minutes I began to notice ants crawling all over my legs and my child's legs.
We brushed them off and were about to sit at the table to the right of us but noticed massive ants feasting on food under the table. The initial ants we had were on the patio cushions.
We looked for another table and sat, as we sat there I began to notice the unkempt, awfully maintained patio area.
We received our food and as I bit into my salmon, mashed potatoes and spinach I noticed a sour milk taste. I initially thought it was me and tried again, but it continued. I ate the salmon and left the rest. I notified the server politely that I think something is a bit spoiled in it. He returned asking if I had ever eaten there before. Then he proceeded to inform me it must be the lemon. Lemon and soured milk are very different tastes.
We had dessert and I ordered a coffee. My son became impatient so I asked for a to go cup. The to go cup had maybe 3 oz of coffee on bottom which I hadn't touched. I asked the bartender if she could top it off for me. She refused and we left. I normally come here for the coffee because it is really good, and have never had problems with refills on coffee.
I am sorry but for spending $100 (kids meal, artichoke hearts, drinks, salmon, dessert and coffee) topping my coffee should not be an issue. Especially knowing that this alliance area is booming with tons of new restaurant options all around. We were just at the opening of a nearby pizza location the day before. I feel like good food, clean patio, nice service, or service that goes beyond is the only options for businesses in the area with so much competition.
As I stated before my entire family usually visits monthly with well over $200 each dinner (family of 5), we bring our friends and family when they visit. We have no plans to ever return, nor will we be recommending or dining at your establishment. I understand a bad day in the kitchen and mishaps but being unable to satisfy a customer with a bad experience by topping the coffee with only 4oz of liquid before the first sip at $4 and not topping it off was the nail in the coffin for me.
I have no plans to write a review online and hope this matter is taken care of before someone does get sick on the spoiled food. I also hope customer service and cleanliness of the patio also take priority as it is vital to your success in this tough market.
However I did look at reviews and just 2 months ago you have customers complaining of a bug issue at your facility. I was glad to see a positive response with action as a response from you all, and hope my concerns are met with the same energy privately. Thank you...

Our Order - Brunch Mimosa Carafe, Pan Fried Steak, Filet Mignon, Hot Fudge Sunday
Food - The food was totally delicious! We recently went to see the movie "The Menu" came out in 2022 (the year I'm reviewing this). This is definitely a location that will engage your taste buds and your palette. My girlfriend got the steak cooked rare, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I do not eat my steaks rare at all (more of a medium - medium well guy), and I was devouring her steak. The flavor profile was crazy amazing. Check the word choice, there's a reason. I got the Pan Fried Steak (chicken fried steak type of meal) and it was absolutely phenomenal too! Also demolished my food. Everything is made from scratch, weighed, and properly prepared with fresh ingredients from that morning. This place is a foodies paradise.
Alcoholic Beverages - we went for brunch so of course we go for the mimosas. We got the carafe ($20) and the bartender poured an entire champagne bottle into it and we were ecstatic about it. The mimosas was doing its thing. They do not have a variety of flavors, just about 3 (pineapple, orange, grapefruit (I think)).
Customer Service - ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! The reason we came here was because of Georgia. I called 3 restaurants in the local area trying to find somewhere to go to for brunch and ask about carafes and Georgia was the only person who had a sweet voice and also took the extra effort to go find out about my question. She is the absolute best. Our server/bartered was Gia. She is super sweet and was able to balance waiting tables and handling bar duties. And we even talked to the manager, Ashley, and she gave us the history of the location and how the chiefs literally do make everything from scratch. I'm big on customer service and this place definitely is top tier.
Portion Size - if I had to force a complaint (because nothing was wrong), I would say I would want bigger portions. However, people always want more. This place gives you the proper portion sizes that we should intake to be healthy people. You will leave here being full and not stuffed, which is how we should eat for proper portions. I left satisfied, and not in a food coma. So again, thank you for helping us eat healthier Towne Grill.
Military discount - Yes.
Pricing - We spent $97.18 (included roughly 25% tip). So this place can be more pricey but the food IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!
Overall - I highly recommend this location. They hit my top 3: customer service, food taste,...
Read moreTowne Grill (formerly Houlihans) was a very pleasant experience. Excellent service and excellent food. What they have done with this place is amazing!! We had Deviled Eggs as an appetizer...very good! I had the Salmon w/Rice & Black Beans...delicious! My husband had the ribs...they were soooo tender and flavorful!! We had a super, great bartender!! Very pleasant dining and atmosphere. It is reasonable priced and just overall a place that makes you want to come back and enjoy again and again....which I'm sure we will be doing!! Stop by and enjoy for yourself!!...you deserve it!! ** Update -- we stopped by Towne Grill again on 7/3/21 to hopefully enjoy a good meal and drinks while enjoying our Country's celebration. Unfortunately, we were highly disappointed! We sat at the bar and had to wait a bit for service (and they were not busy only 2 other customers at the bar,one being the bartenders brother, she told us later,..of course he didn't have to wait for sefvice.). Finally got our drinks, then had to ask for refills and water. Waited again and had to ask to order an appetizer. Had to ask for another drink refill and water. Again, they were not busy at all. Finall placed our entree order...I got the Beef Ragatoni, my husband got the Turkey Burger, French Fries, and cole slaw. My entree was pretty good but my husband's definitely was not. The fries & slaw, good...the turkey burger..awful! He could not eat it. The manager came & spoke with us twice, only offered to replace it with soup! Really!! We decided to check out & mark it lesson learned. Boy did we get a lesson...our tab was $104!! Don't mind paying for a good meal & service, but we received neither!! To receive a tab of that amount & to have bad service AND bad food!?!....very limited beer selection, very limited apps & menu but no limit on the prices!! I hesitated to post this as I don't like to be that person, but this was just too bad, too much. Our money is hard to come by to pay for really bad food & really bad service. Plus we spoke to the Mngr first..twice!...will NOT be visiting Towne...
