Starbucks — Restaurant in Foster City

This is about my App ordering experience. Using my Starbucks' cellphone app, I can order food and drink 5-7 minutes before I arrive at this store. Almost every time, my orders are already ready for me to pick up and go. No hassle, no long line, no waiting, no payment (paid through App). You know what you want, order them remotely, grab and go. App order also allow you to deeply customize your coffee drink. What I do with a Smoke Butterscotch Latte is to add 2 scoops of protein, chocolate power; replace sugar with Splenda, 2% with whole milk. This is done on my phone before I click the Order button. When I pick up the drink, barista tells me that's a really uncommon drink. It tastes so good for me. Of course you can customize your drink on site, but do you really want to do that when you don't know what options you have and 15 people standing in line behind you? Excellent place. Uncomfortable hard chairs and unwelcoming set up. Not enough seats ok plus I hate how hard and uncomfortable it is in there. The seats are better outside than indoors. Like Starbucks is saying "we don't want anyone to be inside". How Rude! I am a real coffee drinker who loves rich delicious coffee. Starbucks is a mediocre place for a quick pick me up. I was working a final thing at 6:24 and was aware of this location would be closed at 6:30pm. The staff told me they were closing in 5 and I said sure I would be ready by then. It was a friendly reminder so I got it. Less than 1 minute I was packing to go, he told his friend who was waiting for him to get off that ppl need to get old 5 minutes before they close… his friend joked back like “do I need to get out now?/ I’ll be waiting you outside” while stilling working on his laptop.
