Read moreReally disappointed with the quality of food & cleanliness considering all of the amazing reviews online. The good: Service was prompt and courteous. Not incredibly busy on a Friday night The not so good: We we're given 2 out of 3 menus. The entree and drink menus. Found out on our way out there was a 3rd menu with all of the sushi options. The table was incredibly sticky (wiped but not cleaned). I ended up having to use hand sanitizer to clean it myself. Not to mention there was two whole pieces of sashimi under my seat so of course I ended up stepping on them and my shoes became slimy (almost slipped trying to exit the restaurant) Ordered green tea to start. The tea was fine but was surprised there was an extra charge for hot water. I've never seen that before -Lastly, as first timers we asked the waitress for her recommendation and we were directed to the keto bento box as it had a little bit of everything. So we ordered the keto bento box and the sweet potato appetizer. The presentation was nice enough but the flavor was lacking and didn't taste fresh as you'd expect from other sushi restaurants. Ultimately, we were dissatisfied especially with the bento box since it was nothing different from what you'd get from big chains.
I would not recommend nor come back to...

We ordered the Salmon, Sweet Shrimp, and the Unagi. I’m always down for salmon so we ordered that. I remember when I tried the Sweet Shrimp for the first time and didn’t like it at all. The slimy texture wasn’t appetizing but then “H” kept insisting that I try it again a few years back. And when I did I liked it.
I tried the Monk Fish Liver years ago and I was surprised I liked it then because it was not like me to be that adventurous at the time. Since I tried it before, I knew I could handle it this time. I tried not to think it was liver, but instead just focus on the flavor and texture. I thought it was tasty as it melts in your mouth and each bite is flavorful and nutty.
We were stuffed, but we still had room for a little dessert. They had the Black Sesame, BUT they ran out of it. How convenient. So instead we order the Green Tea ice cream which is two small scoops with small whipped cream. The green tea ice cream was so so. There are much better ones out there and this little serving of ice cream was $3. Oh wells, we got...
