Complaint Against Discount Vending Machine
Dear BBB, I am writing to file a formal complaint against Discount Vending Machine, a company from which I purchased a CBD vending machine in July of 2022.
I have experienced significant issues with the product and have encountered unsatisfactory customer service, leaving me with deep frustration and dissatisfaction. Details of the Complaint: Faulty CBD Vending Machine: Upon purchasing the CBD vending machine from Discount Vending Machine for the substantial cost of over $9000,00, I encountered immediate problems with its functionality. The machine has consistently failed to operate correctly, leading to numerous disruptions and inconvenience for my business operations. Ongoing Issues: Over the past year, I have been diligently attempting to get the vending machine repaired, but I have encountered obstacles and a lack of proper assistance from Discount Vending Machine. Despite my repeated efforts to seek resolution, the company's response has been unsatisfactory, prolonging the inconvenience and distress caused by this situation. Lack of Proper Support: Discount Vending Machine's customer service has been suspect. Their technicians have been consistently unavailable for times I am available , even when I have raised urgent concerns about the non-functionality of the vending machine. This lack of efficiency and professionalism from the company has reflected poorly on my own business and affected my ability to serve my customers adequately. Failure to Comply with Legal Requirements: I have repeatedly expressed the need for an age verifier to be installed on the vending machine, as required by law. However, Discount Vending Machine has been resistant and indifferent to my request, only acknowledging the issue after a mass email was sent out regarding a legal battle related to the age verifier machine software. This negligence and lack of accountability have had a detrimental impact on my business operations. Thank you The CBD Joint

Even though they acknowledged all the issues. I still sit her today with a non working CBD vending machine and still paying expenses despite the fact it doesn't work, and all they can do is point fingers. Try pointing at yourselves. This is NOT on me or my internet connection. You are the problem Jeff Cramer. You.

I am emailing you to notify you that we are in the middle of a heated battle with our manufacturer of the AV2500 Units. Last week on May 31 we were notified for the first time that the original software is being trashed and they are moving forward to version 2.0. We were completely blindsided by this news. We were told that this new software would fix the multiple bugs that we have been seeing in the system. They have tested it out on a few customers already and although it is still in the Beta testing phase, it looks very good. We were able to get the new software downloaded Friday of last week and have been going back and forth with the manufacturer getting it installed and configured properly.
We are optimistic that this new software will fix the different issues we’ve been experiencing lately. Unfortunately it will most likely require the AV2500 unit to be shipped back to DVS so we can install the new software and in some cases, new hardware as well. We are committed to our customers and will pay for the updates, and shipping both ways of course. We are also looking into the possibility of emailing the new software to customers along with instructions on how to install it, but we are still assessing this option as it will be more complicated. Read moreDVS has been amazing! My husband and I are brand new to the vending business. Jade is our sales rep and she made sure we got exactly what we wanted and what we needed that fit in our budget. She was very informative and we hope to work with her again when we purchase our third machine! Next, we worked with Candace for our wrap. She made sure we understood everything we needed to do on our end. We gave her our logo and she designed a beautiful wrap for our machines. Our customers have already made great comments on how it looks! They love the tropical feel! We also worked with Tobias when it came to the configuration and all the technical components of the machine. We have continued to work with him and will continue to do so when we need support. He has gone above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need to get up and running. He is always patient with me on the phone while I write notes and will help me until I understand everything I need to know. I am so grateful to have him as my service technician. Tobias is my go to person now if/when I have any questions about the machine. I HIGHLY recommend The Discount Vending Store for everyone in the vending business! Thank you all for everything you have done for us and we hope we will be working with you again!
Edit: It has been 6 months since my review and my 5 stars still stand! Our first machine ended up being a faulty machine so is was replaced. We were able to reconfigure our CBD machine with help from the sales team, design team, and tech support. With all the issues we went through with our first machine they were very reasonable and fair with their service towards us regarding a third machine. Read moreSo far thoroughly disappointed with the Omni. Contacting support weekly trying to resolve issues that continuously pop up. Many motors need replacing... Card reader took months to get set up before i could start to use the machine at all... multiple products gets stuck in the vending process... Logic errors on the machine control board That produced error messages on the screen when somebody tries to purchase something... I come into my store daily ready to try to figure out what the next issue is that popped up from people trying to purchase something...
The support team is very friendly, professional and helpful... But there's no way I should have to call them so frequently on a brand new machine ...the machine is cra*.
The website that they tout.... you can update your machine remotely from is in Chinese... Some of it is translated into English but the translation reads like it was done by someone who has a limited grasp of English. Updates from this remote website can take up the 2 weeks to take effect. I've had this machine a few months now and I have yet to see any type of inventory control from this website that is of any use.
The wires which connect the drawers to the logic board are too short and get tangled which then seem to frequently pull out from the motors when you slide the drawer out. Unfortunately, to Discover if the product in the drawers is working correctly... You have to constantly test each product in order to be sure that the wires are functional. This is a huge time suck.
