Delicious salmon dinner. Very good value. -July 22, 2025 1:30pm so not a crowded loud time. Newly opened a month ago by same great owners as 5281 Steak Salad Seafood (which is great) and West Hill Grill and Bar, who I've seen in my 25 years here they've stopped turnover sites into successful local establishments. At first glance I thought it was expensive but really no more than most non-chains these days. The $23 salmon was MORE than worth the extra 3 or 4 dollars. Simply delicious and juicy with PERFECTLY cooked green beans and a GREEN salad with 5 toppings including protein of hard boiled egg and cheese. So satisfying. I would have given 5 stars if food was organic/nongmo/wildcaught/etc, and I think everything is too expensive these days. The place is very clean with beautiful bathrooms. The atmosphere is more one big bar space than cozy dining but comfortable seating. I had a booth. I imagine it will be louder when full. Overall, will be back to all of their restaurants because the food and service are great. Our community is lucky to have this family giving us good choices to dine out! Makes me confident...

No problem, they stated the wait would be 15-20 mins, cool. We waited longer at other spots. 35 mins later, my wife went in th check. Then we were told about 15 more minutes. OK, we waited again. Finally, I went in again asking where we were on the list. The hostess said about 15 mins and that there were still 2 ahead of us. I said ok reluctantly, but at that point, the place was starting to empty. We were finally called at 7:00 pm to sit. We were greeted by a very nice girl. We ordered our food and so the wait began again. The waitress came out several times and let us know that our food was coming out and it would be just a couple of mins. Finally, at 8:00 pm we were done. We told them we were leaving. The waitress said again, "Are you sure, you're food is almost out. Really!?! We were done. We probably will never know if the food is good or not. We will likely not be back. So much for trying. Good luck to anyone wanting to try this for...
Read moreI went to The Flying Pig after work almost every Friday and was sad to see that it closed. I was hoping that the restaurant to take its place would be just as good but it really....was not. I got the fish sammy and my boyfriend got a burger, we got mozzarella sticks, he got 2 beers and I got a marg. The marg was short and FOURTEEN DOLLARS, and mostly ice, he said the burger was nondescript and just a burger....All in all we left spending $98. The food was definitely not worth the price. The filet on the sammy was about a foot long, so pretty hard to eat on a sandwich, and it was also dry and bland. The Pig had tastier food for a better price and the staff and atmosphere there were fun. I'm really sad to see the loss of the pig and the restaurant that has taken it's place. I'm not sure how long this place will last given how expensive it is and the menu being as small and bland as it is. The girls at the front are sweet and so was our server. But we will probably not be back....maybe if I win the lottery I'd give it...
