Damn, this place is great. I’ve lived in Santa Fe for 8 years and can’t remember when I last had food this good, the overall experience this phenomenal. In my unprofessional opinion, best restaurant in NM at the moment. One of the issues with NM restaurants is food may be good one time you go, but then it’s just not the next time — aka, there’s a lack of consistency. It was like eating at a restaurant in New York, no detail spared. And, as you’ll notice from the attached photo, the whole dining area is within sight of the kitchen — you can physically SEE just how organized and well put together their whole operation is at every point in the service. This place was so attentive to all things, even with the second owner being seemingly the only one to host / serve / bus at this time, that I just can’t imagine any lack of consistency in the quality of dishes occurring here. Not currently serving alcohol but that shouldn’t be a set back from trying it before they have some crazy wait list with how popular this place will soon become.

An absolute must-try in Taos, and in my opinion, maybe the most underrated dining experience in the area. After spending a long weekend in Taos and hitting most of the buzzier spots there, El Prado, and Arroyo Seco, this was truly above and beyond and my favorite meal of the trip. They’re currently waiting for the wine and liquor license, which is why I think it’s not being talked about more, but that should not deter you from dining. And for what it’s worth, their N/A drinks were phenomenal (I had the juniper spritz). The depth of flavor in each dish is hard to describe in writing, but, frankly, one of the most nuanced and pleasurable food experiences in recent memory. Service was top notch with a very lovely and accommodating staff, and the vibe was comforting yet sexy (nice lighting, really cool black flatware, dried floral arrangements). Also, generous portions and fabulous art on the walls. 10/10, wish I lived closer and can’t wait to come back.

Such a unique little place. Definitely recommend a reservation as the space is very small with limited seating. The food was delicious. We had the shrimp Agua chile to start, the shrimp was like nothing I’ve had before. It was cooked and cut in a very interesting way but was very tasty. For mains we had the sea bass and the short ribs. The sea bass was fantastic. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The short ribs were cooked very well and the polenta underneath was wonderful. For dessert we had the dark chocolate tart. The tart itself is 82% dark chocolate and is bitter like that dark of chocolate is and pairs very nice with the blood orange sorbet. The tart was very creamy and smooth. I would absolutely come back to try other things on the menu. The service was great and very friendly. I enjoyed the entire dining experience.
