They have their own parking spot, we love that always !!!
When I was in Ohio for a couple of months I loved going to this chain to have the queso and the enchilada also with queso.
OFC when my BF and I were in Orlando that was one of the first things that came to mind! why not!!!!
I spoke highly about the place o him! I was very excited for my BF to try it.
Sadly this particular place fell victim of the biggest sin that the business itself is not to blame, THEIR EMPLOYEES.
As we came in I was excited to see the puppy room and the fishes!
The hostess was quick to sit us, we dont usually sit in front of each other but she gave us a 2 person booth, I dont blame her since she dont know our sitting preferences so we made it work.
I will talk about the food last, now I will talk about the reason why they lost 3 stars, the food took 1, that's why they have 1 left.
As we are sitting and get to make our order to the waitress I asked her for a cup with salt rim and some hot sauce, she decided for herself not to do that and brought us a cup with salt in the rim and TOMATOE (michelada mix) juice inside. If you are Mexican or OR if you ever had a michelada, I'm pretty sure it does to have tomatoes or whatever mix. it is just hot sauce.
My BF hated it and didn't even drink his beer anymore. The waitress noticed that he didn't like it, she asked if it was good and we said not, SHE didn't even bother to try talk to the manager and take it out of the check, YES we still paid for the drink we didn't order.
Moving on, cause it gets better.
We ordered our food.
Once she brought it to the table she told me that my plate was hot, and to my BF that his plate was EXTRA hot, now I am a little uncomfortable cause I noticed that she was not only deciding what my bf will drink but now she's saying cute things to him in front of me, the way she said EXTRA hot was noticeable to all of us, we were so uncomfortable.
Now at this point the food came right, we ate and I decided to go to the restroom.
When I come back my BF tells me that she came to the table while I was alway and asked if we would be having dessert, that is pretty normal, I didn't see anything wrong with that question, HOWEVER, he then proceeded to tell me that she asked him if he would like SEPARATE CHECKS.
WTF?????
How dare this person make me and my BF this uncomfortable and come on to my bf while I was in the bathroom?
We got out of there so uncomfortable, I read her name in in the check at the moment but I ended up forgetting but I wish and hope that the chain reads this and gets rid of her, cause if she did this to me (a person who writes reviews and she dont even know) she probably does it all the time to other people.
These kind of employees can drag a business to the ground and they should not be there at all.
Her behavior to me was condescending and now I see why, cause she was interested in coming on to my BF.
Now the food,
QUESO- I love having the queso here cause it comes mixed with some meat. also they have endless chips here so yay, cause there's a lot of queso on the order.
JALAPENO RANCH- that is a must as well with the queso and the salsa for the chips.
ENCHILADAS TEX-MEX- I got this because I wanted the cheese and onion enchilada, but I was not at all a fan of the tex-mex sauce, it was too spicy and at the same time a super dry sauce? I did not feel that the enchilada had onion in it at all either, funny enough it was the first time I did not finish my meal.
Sadly this place was a terrible experience, we got out of there underwhelmed and uncomfortable.
The food was not at all impressive like the Ohio venue, and the waitress didn't even bother to see why we didn't finish our meals or take the horrible drink we didn't drink off the bill cause she was too busy hitting on my bf!
The waitress as already mentioned a billion times is not professional at all.

Read moreI was hoping write a 5 star review. I was really excited after hearing people talk about Chuy's and reading other reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was not one worth 5 stars. Im being generous with the 3 actually. I would give it a two except the food was really yummy that I had. So Im sure youre wondering why not 5 stars if the food was really yummy. Well a few things happened tonight that made me lower the rating. It started out smooth. We had out our name in online and when we arrived we were told it would be 10-15 minutes. Within 5 minutes we were called. The restaurant is decorated beautifully with tons of things to see. It is full of bright colors and clever pictures and patterns. Very inviting. We were sat at a table in a back room with a few other tables and a row of booths. Things were still going well. Chips and 2 kinds of dips (salsa and a green creamy one) were delivered to us within minutes. Our waiter introduced himself, very friendly gentleman. (Leaving his name out bc of later details). We had our drinks like 15 minutes later which seemed like a long time especially eating the chips. I had an unsweetened ice tea, my mom had a margarita which she said was awesome and my dad and husband had beer. (An aside, they put an additional tax on the beer on the bill. FYI). We ordered. Our waiter even helped me decide on the fajitas. Then we waited. And waited And waited. And waited.......
Our waiter brought food out to 3 tables who had come in after us when we were still waiting for our food! They had all come in way after us and ordered way after us.
We waited some more.... Finally I was able to get the attention of a woman who works there and I very politely asked if she could check on our food because it was talking a while.
Another 10 minutes or so. Then came the food. Fajitas were super yummy, however it was supposed to come with peppers and onions and there were only 3 small pieces of green pepper and 2 tiny pieces of red pepper. It was almost all onions under the chicken! I made do with this however it was a very over the top amount of onions. Still was a delicious meal. My husband had asked three times if his meal would be spicy and was told no each time. Within a few seconds my husbands face was red from the spices and he was sweating. He still enjoyed it however it was definitely spicy. (Chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas). My dads meal was also missing the beans that were supposed to be in it. Still all the food was yummy. Just not as expected. The other thing was, the back room we were sitting in was FREEZING COLD!!! It was a least 10 degrees colder than the rest of the restaurant. We said if we ever go again we will make sure NOT to be seated in that room because it would have been a much better experience if people werent freezing. All in all, I would try it again sometime and give it another chance. If I do, more stars may be added or taken away. It was a disappointing experience overall. But like I said, I would...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked in, bad. A group of about 6ppl walked in before us, then my family and I, then another group of teenagers behind us. The group of teenagers got greeted and added to the list before us. Umm, hello? As a hostess, you should pay more attention to this. (Shame on the teenagers, but I don’t expect nothing less nowadays). We left it alone because it was a 5-10m wait, but still left us a little irritated.
When we got called back, we were seated at a table with no silverware, no drink menu, and they didn’t bring my daughter a coloring menu. Which she loves! We had to go back up and ask and when we did, the hostess said “The kids menu is on the regular menu.” NOT THE POINT! And we knew that. Then we waited 10m for a server. There was a guy in that area and he only had 3 tables, most of which had food already. Even if he was busy, a simple acknowledgement would’ve been enough for us. We worked food industry before so we know. But nothing. My husband left to tell this hostess and at that very moment we got our server. Ok, about time. Service was dull, not a lot going on, hoping food is great after a long day at Disney.
We get our food, no silverware still. The guy who ran out food was the ONLY quick and responsive person! He noticed we had no silverware and that we requested an extra plate for our daughter which also didn’t come. He came back right away! He apologized and explained that if a table doesn’t have silverware, the hostess is supposed to say something. Doesn’t surprise me the hostess didn’t do their job… when he got our silverware, one of the packets had two knives in it, so we had to go back again to get a fork. This time, I know that the double knife situation is an honest mistake, but that just annoyingly topped it off for us after everything already. Denzil the balloon artist was also the other saving grace. He came and made our daughter very happy ALL before the server came up, otherwise we would’ve walked out. Managers, you should do better by training and being on top of the staff. Hostess may seem like a very easy job, and it should be, but it all starts there, at the door. No one smiled, no one properly greeted us, and knowing what we and the servers need is very important. ONLY KUDOS goes to the food runner, who we learned later was a server, and the balloon guy!! We were in the very back corner without our daughter on a Sunday evening. To those two men, thank you! Everyone...
