Was a little bit disappointed with the restaurant overall. After reading such wonderful reviews I made a reservation a week in advanced and couldn't wait all week. Mentioned on my reservation that it was my anniversary and was expecting the best. I guess my expectations were a bit too high. Got a wonderful table and Milly was out server. Although she was very sweet the service was very slow and the restaurant was very slow. We asked for a drink menu and she advised that they didn't have any. Thought it was weird that a high class bar wouldn't carry a drink menu. I saw on previous pictures fancy and pretty martinis, but she didn't know any of the ones I showed her. Since the moment we walked in it took about 15 - 20 minutes to get service. We ordered steak and though the steak was tasty and good proportion the sides were the size of a large spoonful. I mostly came for the amazing looked creme brulee which apperantly they don't serve anymore. Very disappointed with that. No wine menu either. I think the worst thing was we had to remind or waitress that it was it anniversary. Usually expensive restaurants will provide you with a nice dessert and as per one of the pictures from another reviewer they serve a double cheesecake with the words happy anniversary on it. We didn't get such luck. We had to ask for it and she mentioned that she will talk to her manager to see if there is something they can do. Although I'm grateful they have us a free dessert I was a little sad that it wasn't offered. Spent a lot of money, but I think I overpaid.

Our table ordered the Salmon, Short Rib, Ribeye, and Filet. The food was great, steaks were cooked as ordered, and we enjoyed the meal. The drinks were also on point. The dining room is attached to the bar and was pretty loud. Service was great, Rob took care of us and we never had to wait long for drinks. We could tell he was busy but he did a great job. The one disappointment was the billiards room. There's some wood flooring that's lifting up pretty badly, 4 of the 8 pool cue's were missing their rubber tips, at least two were bent and no longer true, and there was no hand chalk (which is rare it seems so I can forgive that). I think there were 3 decent pool cue's for the two tables there.. Its a big area of the total sqft of the restaurant to neglect like that, they could easily enclose it and get a more intimate dining experience in there if they don't want to take care of the billiards equipment.

I am not usually big on hotel restaurants but I was pleasantly surprised by David's. Went in for the 4:30 bourbon tasting that's offered 2x a week at a small fee. That turned into great conversation with the bartender. Our friends decided to eat dinner there so we stayed to Join them. Bourbon, scotch, and whiskey selection is great. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer which was really good. Moved over to our table and I ordered the 18oz bone in ribeye with smashed potatoes, also ordered the corn chowder. The 28 day aged steak was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The smashed potatoes were a little dryer than I like. The corn chowder was excellent. My wife had the salmon and said it had great flavor. Service at the bar was excellent and the table service was the same.

We chose David’s for birthday dinner and they not disappoint! Our server was Rob and he was truly the reason for such a wonderful dining experience. Rob was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. When asked about entree selections he offered thorough and detailed information, such as telling us the steaks were hand cut, the marbling in the steaks, the difference in cooking temperatures, etc. Although the dining room was moderately busy he took the time to chat and have a conversation with us, we did not feel rushed. He made us feel like we his only guest. We were also visited by Jared who came by the table to see how we were doing and if we needed anything, and if everything was going well. He was also very friendly and welcoming. Taking the time to wish me a happy birthday and to offer advice on the best dessert selection. Of course all the desserts are delicious but thanks to Jared’s advice my choice of dessert was the Biscoff crumble cake, it did not disappoint! A delicious finale to a wonderful and memorable birthday dinner! Overall it was a enjoyable, relaxing, fun birthday dinner!

Thank you Rob and...
