They completely and totally blindly robbed me! First of all, I had AWFUL service!! I got there at 9:30pm and we were seated at a table for dinner first before letting my kids play. It was not until 10pm that a waiter had even come over to ask if we wanted drinks, or anything at all. My son encouraged us to leave, but it was late and I just wanted to let the kids play at the arcade before going home and I knew they needed to eat. By the time "Joshua" got to our table, we were already ready to order. I advised we were ready to order and he said "we will start with drinks first", excuse me ? He went around the entire table and made us order drinks first before he would take our food order. Mind you, I'm already irritated that we have been there for 30 minutes with zero recognition. Now, on a busy night, I can understand completely. However that was not the case! The only thing busy was the bar. We were one of 3 families actually dining. With me I had four children, two are toddlers. They're starving at this point so they are giving me a really hard time. We finally get to order our food and it takes ANOTHER 45 minutes. We ordered sandwiches and nuggets!!!! After 30 minutes of us waiting for our food and me barely holding it together because my daughter is just over it, "Joshua" brings a food plate holder to our table and says, the food will be out soon. Huh?? Why would you bring a table to hold food and set it next to our table like a high chair? It felt like a tease and I just became even more upset. That table sat there for 25 more minutes before the food actually came!! An entire hour and a half before we even got a plate from the time we got there and when we arrived, there was only one family there already eating. My meal said $13 on the menu, my son's meal said $13 on the menu, and 3 kids meals are $8.99 plus $1 for their drinks. Not only do the line items NOT match up, but he robbed me!! First of all, 6.43 for (2) kids drinks originally priced at $1 with a kids meal?? That math doesn't even add up. $2.99 sweet tea came to 3:21, (2) kids meals at 8.99 equal 19.33??? Philly cheesesteak $15.99 WHICH IT WAS NOT!! became $17.19, etc etc. Now I can see if that was added tax per line item, but then he added tax AGAIN at the bottom! Not only was it an entirely awful service from the very beginning, and not only did it rob me in plain sight, but then he proceeded to give himself a mandatory 20% tip!! I am a tipper and I firmly believe in tipping for service but this, this was just disgusting to me. And then when he did bring the check, he stood at my table while I gathered the payment staring at me. I then took out the amount listed down to the penny as I had already felt robbed. He proceeded to count the money in front of me twice, and said I think you miscounted, is this down to the exact penny? At that point I was confused whether he was asking for a second tip or if he couldn't figure out how to count $81 and change. Now, if it was the kitchen's fault for being late, I can understand. Situations beyond servers control are understandable. But he was just straight up completely careless and entitled and served us how he wanted to without a single ounce of sympathy and then demanded a 20% tip. I will never, ever spend my money here again. The only reason I even went here was because it was convenient for the arcade. Unfortunately my kids were so worn out by the time they actually ate that we had spent $80 on play cards for no reason. This place sucks! A total of $170 spent here to be mistreated and...
Read moreMy mum and I took my two daughters yesterday as a birthday treat and left feeling upset and deflated! We were seated for food and the first issue is they do not have a physical menu, you have to scan a QR code to pull up the menu. I have an old android phone which does not have the ability to scan a QR code and I pointed this out to our server and he said sorry they don't have paper menu's but he could tell me verbally what the items on the menu are. I said no, I will try to pull it up using their website info - which I did. At this time, we asked for two white wine spritzers (I requested two 9 oz pinot grigio's in a tall glass topped with soda water). 25 mins later after chasing for our two drinks, they arrived in a wine glass. I asked about the drinks and he said they cannot serve wine in a tall glass, it has to be in a wine glass. Ok I said. My mum and I proceeded to try the spritzer and it tasted of soda water - no wine. The glass was barely big enough to hold the 9 oz of wine, but it was full of ice and soda water. We mentioned it to our server and he said we should order another wine and top up our glasses. ??? I said I did not want to order another wine as the drinks weren't right. He left to chase our food which still had not arrived after 45 minutes! After we ate our two burgers, we requested the bill and to our amazement the spritzers were $11 each when we were expecting $8 each. My mum caught the attention of the manager (I didn't catch her name) and she explained the situation with our spritzers in that their recipe costs this much. Excuse me, their recipe to pour 9 oz of wine and top it up with a little soda water costs $11 for a drink that was mostly soda water and ice! She did not apologise, she did not offer any compensation. She said they did their job. The manager also said that he android can scan QR codes insinuating that our phones could too. We will NEVER go back to this Game Time and do not recommend their dine in experience as they were very rude and condescending! The young girl on the game side was polite but that is the only positive feedback I have for this horrible...
Read moreI don't usually take the time to write reviews, but when I encounter an issue that frustrates me, I want to help others avoid the same experience. I was having a good time while my wife and I were playing the games, and we were racking up some e-tickets as well in hopes of bringing home some toys to give to our nieces/nephews. So we wrapped up using our card credits and used the kiosk to check our ticket balance(MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS). When we looked at our usage, we noticed most of the games were NOT issuing the e-tickets onto our card that we were being told we had earned at the completion of play. So we spoke to the manager, and he refunded us the credits from games that didn't issue the e-tickets. Sure, that was a partial solution for us, but even if we played the games again, they still weren't going to give us e-tickets. He said he took down the names of the games to have the issue "looked into". So we opted to come back to use refunded credits the next day in hopes the games would be corrected to actually issue tickets, or at the very least that management would put up notices on the games that were still not properly issuing tickets now that they were aware of the issue. Unfortunately it wasn't corrected yet, and they hadn't attempted to make customers aware by notices or otherwise. The floor staff were as helpful as they were able to be, but to make their lives easier, management really needs to work out the bugs in the system.
Based on other reviews, this wasn't an isolated issue.
So for anyone looking to get the FULL experience of a ticket redemption arcade, skip this location until they fix their issues. If you're just going to play the non-ticket games/bowling lanes, then I guess you won't...
