Came in this morning to have breakfast with the lady, got seated, serve drinks, and menus brought reasonably quick, shortly later when the food arrived everything looked OK, she ordered the chuckwagon. I ordered breakfast tacos, both with crispy hashbrowns. Both servings of hashbrowns were literally black grit Loaded with distasteful grease. We tried to get the waitress attention, but she was off on the other side, getting orders for other guests, after waiting 15 minutes, we decided to try and eat the food, that didn’t go well, both of us got horrible heartburn, and unremovable after taste of the Oil and grease that were sponged in 90% of the hash browns/ blacks. She had coffee I had iced tea, neither of which ever got offered a refill in the 40 minute wait to have the first conversation with the waitress and when we told her the concerns with the meal, she just blew it off like next time ask for something else, and offered no resolution. Finally, upon waiting another 12 minutes at the counter, she approaches the register to argue against how terrible the food was, which mind you was 60%, not even Eaton still on the plate, and proceeded to hold her hand out for almost $40. This was only my third visit here as I am new to the area, the first two visits Service was great, and the food was excellent, Today however, was an absolute thumbs down. After refusing to pay for drinks, which were never refilled, she then says oh I’ll take an extra 10% off for military discount. I’m sorry, but that’s an insult to every man and woman who wore the uniform to fight for this country, veterans deserve better than that, citizens deserve better than that, even the homeless deserve better food than that. She felt absolutely robbed for paying $32 for food we for the most part could not even eat. Both got home and probably 80% of what we ate got threw up in the toilet. It’s two hours later and after drinking 44 ounces of iced tea and eating a granola bar, my pallet still taste like disgusting grease the hashbrowns were saturated in. Never again!
Update: Embarrass? You got no ground to stand on here. Keep it, we’ll make sure nobody we know or meet in this town desire to come here. I been here a few times before and brought friends and visitors to come here since we moved to town and the food n service was always excellent. This however was a joke and I wouldn’t have given that food to a homeless person let alone charge anyone...
Read moreUpdated post - we used to really like this place...food was always good and DeeDee, our server several times, was always wonderful. So hopefully just an off day for this place yesterday, but we were very disappointed in our food and the service. Our server was in a horrible mood and took it out on her customers. She barely acknowledged us (simply pointed to a booth when we walked in and said you can sit there), talked so fast when we asked her what the soups were that we couldn't understand a word she was saying, only served two out of the three of us at one time. I sat there for awhile waiting for my breakfast. I told my husband and out of town guest to go ahead and start eating. She never even said something like, "your food will be right up". Just served the two plates and walked away. At one time, she and another server were arguing and bitching at each other behind the counter, right by the customer tables. We were friendly and polite and said please and thank you to everything, hoping this would help with her attitude, but nope.
The food was also just "ok" this time. Tasted like dirty greasy grill top. Hashbrowns barely done. They used to offer home potatoes...like hashbrowns, but in rounds. The server didn't mention them, nor did I see them on the menu. The cheese in my omelet and in our guest's stuffed biscuits was the fake gooey stuff, not real cheese.
Super disappointing in every which way, especially when we told our out of town guest that we really liked this place and they had good...
Read moreordered a delivery form this restaurants on uber eats.. the order was two omelets. TWO!!!, but i only received one. when i called for the manager she immediately went to the baggers. i could here her asking them to try and remember the order so that "they can blame the uber driver for not delivering enough bags. When she realized it was her staff that screwed up she said the only way for the issue to get fixed was to go through uber eats.... they didn't make the mistake, and i am 2 min away and she refused to send someone with the order to correct the situation. I am obviously frustrated at their inability to bag TWO OMLETES. My office orders form this place frequently, but will not be anymore. I told the "manager" as she calls herself that i have to send someone from my office now to pick up the order due to her and her staffs incompetence and unhelpfulness. she told me not to have an attitude with her and her staff!!! you messed up someone food and you tell me not to have an attitude. beware ordering form this place as long as they employ such a lousy, rude and unhelpful manager! she didn't show any sign of caring despite the restaurant making the mistake, when my employee went to pick up the corrected order she was chased out to her car with the toast they forgot to put in the bag!!! seems like they cant get anything right here! they messed up bagging the same order twice... maybe they need better management, or to train the current manager how to deal with a mistake...
