Bella's Café — Restaurant in Frankfort

Stopped in for coffee with my husband and newborn daughter. An older man sitting behind us as we ordered our drinks on his iPad, took a picture of our newborn on his iPad without saying anything/asking. The only reason I noticed was because his iPad made a photo noise. I heard and immediately asked if he took a picture which he told me he did. I became extremely uncomfortable and ask him to delete it. And knowing you can go into deleted photos and recover i let a worker know what happened, she was very understanding and got the manager. But when talking to the manager i was told “oh that’s, “Phil” (I can’t remember the regulars name) “he’s super nice you can just ask him to delete it” - I find it completely unacceptable for a stranger to be taking pictures of anyone let alone a baby. And felt I was completely shut down by the manager. It doesn’t matter if he’s a regular, that is unacceptable...

My husband and I ordered a couple bagel sandwiches, we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait, which we were fine with. So we ordered a frappe and mocha so we could have a drink while we waited. We waited and our sandwiches came out after 20 minutes and still no drinks, at this point they had forgotten about our drinks and had already served people that ordered drinks after us. So I went to go wait in line to ask about it. By the time I waited another 10 minutes they made my drink, while my husband was still waiting for his they preceded to take a long time, made his drink wrong and gave him attitude when he asked if they added the flavor he ordered in it, so they grudgingly remade it. My husband said the drink was ok. My drink was not mixed well, had big chunks of ice still, and the powder wasn't mixed well so it was grainy. Our sandwiches were bland. Would never...

Delicious coffee. Two were available the morning we stopped. Medium or Dark roast coffee. Self serve after payment. You can add onr of many flavorings which I think was 50 cents per pump. Breakfast sandwiches were delicious - either egg, cheese & ham OR egg, cheese & avocado. Also muffins and donuts were available. Exceptionally clean coffee cafe. Staff were very nice and worked as a team attentive to patrons. They have an area to sit and read. .. little library bookcase. Ask them if they accept contributions. It appeared they needed a few more authors of novels, autobiographies and picture (photo) documentary books to browse while drinking coffee. Small gift area at front of the cafe - pay at register. And yes they have a coffee rewards card. Be sure to keep in your wallet for each coffee...
