Get ready, people, this is going to be a long one. This location is an absolute nightmare. I was a loyal customer who used to love Panera's quality food, beverages, and pastries, but not anymore. I took a several month hiatus from visiting this store due to their atrocious wait times last fall (as in, waiting almost an hour for a simple you pick two and drink). However, I thought that they might have gotten their ducks in a row by now, but I was sorely mistaken. MONTHS later, the employees and management are still up to their same shenanigans. My only positives are that some of the new managers and employees are genuinely very sweet and understanding. Specifically, there is a young blonde woman who was very helpful with my breakfast order when it was delayed, even offering a free pastry for my troubles. However, there are two managers, I believe one's name is Shawn, and the other one has longish brown hair. Firstly, I encountered Shawn in the drive through, where he was extremely short with me and didn't even ask if I had a MyPanera card!!! Unacceptable!! With the price I'm paying for this food, I should at least be earning points for rewards. Additionally, he asked me to pull forward and wait for my ONE you pick two and drink when there was no one behind me. I'd like to know his reasoning behind that... Plus, when he finally brought out my food, he forgot my drink, and when I asked him about it, was very ill-mannered, huffing and puffing as he went back to get it. He merely said "oh, sorry". SO RUDE!!!!! I asked around on one of my local Facebook groups and discovered that this behavior has been experienced by my other loyal, Panera loving friends! This behavior needs to be remedied if this establishment will continue to receive business. The other long-haired manager just generally gives me a bad vibe, I encountered him on my second visit, which was recently. He was hanging around the workers who were making and packaging orders, doing absolutely nothing and just being all giggly with them, and some of the poor employees were giving each other looks when his back was turned. CREEPY!!! My order was also wrong, which is unbelievable considering a manager was literally floating around them. The least he could do is make sure the orders are right... Anyways, that last visit is my last straw with Panera Bread. Maybe I will try my luck with different locations, but that will not be for a while. Congratulations, you've lost a valuable customer. I won't even bother coming in to use the rest of my sip...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went in Wednesday to grab dinner, there was no one at the counter so we were just looking at the menu, a lady walks out of the back almost frustrated that we were there, she's like what would you like? No greeting or anything, I asked for a pick 2 with broccoli cheddar soup, she's like we don't have any bread do you want chips or an apple? I asked could I substitute for a bagel and before I could even finish she very rudely says I SAID APPLE OR CHIPS! I was a bit taken back, chips please, and ordered the green goddess caprese, my boyfriend goes to order and he asks for a broccoli cheddar in a bread bowl, and again she gets very rude, I SAID WE DONT HAVE BREAD, and goes over to the bread rack like she's Vanna White to show no bread on the rack, he's like ok I'll just have a cup of soup then and orders a sandwich. Ya know she really could have avoided all that unnecessary attitude by just stating upfront they had no bread .... And really how does Panera Bread not have bread at 4:30 pm?? .... So after paying $28 for 2 half sandwiches and 2 CUPS of soup and 2 bags of chips we sat and waited for our food, as we sat there we started to notice how disgustingly dirty the restaurant was, there is so much build up on the ceiling and lights that it is dangling down and falling into the food !!!!!! After waiting about 30 min we got our food and as we were walking out I noticed the lemons by the tea station and they were moldy!!!!! Yeah I'm so done with this Panera, this was not my first visit where I was disappointed but that will be my...
Read moreI walked in to place my order and paid with cash, I handed the girl at the register a $50 and $20 dlr bills, she took the money, said something on the manager’s ear and both headed to the room in the back, that didn’t sit right with me, it felt very awkward, after a little back, she came back with the same bills, I thought she went to get change but no, I asked if everything was ok? She said it was protocol to do that with every bill over $50, I have been a customer of Panera for years and have never experienced this awkwardness, they usually will have a pen, machine or simply check against light to verify bills, the manager and her were looking at me and I felt judge for one second, the feeling was very awkward. The young boy that handed me the food was extremely respectful and provided great service. I would like the manager to look into this because it just doesn’t sit right with me, because the same way Panera doesn’t trust me with my money, the same way I don’t trust Panera with my money! Don’t take my money away from me unless the...
