Steve's Pizza — Restaurant in Franklin Township

I recently stopped by and tried both the cheese pizza and the tomato slice, and I have to say, they did not disappoint.

The cheese pizza had a fluffy crust that was just the right thickness, not too thin and not too thick. The sauce was decent, not too sweet or tangy, and the cheese was definitely the star of the show. It was gooey and delicious, with just the right amount on top. Overall, it was a solid cheese pizza that hit the spot.

The tomato slice was also a standout. The base was thin and crispy, and the juicy, fresh tomatoes added a great flavor profile. It was the perfect choice for a lighter option that still satisfied my pizza cravings.

Pizza and salad YUM! Bar drinks mehhhhh. Have eaten here 4 times , each experience has improved - as the 1st time was shortly after opening. Food is delicious and served quickly. Salads are great size for sharing and are fresh and well flavored. Pizza is think crust with extra focus on dough flavor and consistency. Sauce is not overly sweet. One negative is cooking method results in black burned oven remnants on bottom of pizza which gets everywhere and If too much can affect taste. Worst pizza I've ever eaten. First of all, they're not Italians. Italians know how to bake pizza. I just wanted a tomato mozzarella pizza and it was all watery. They put real tomatoes on it and the pizza was soaked through very quickly. Not a crispy base as you usually know it. We ran out of gas and had to get something to eat. Otherwise I would never have entered this restaurant. The basil was wet and no longer recognizable. The taste was awful. I can only recommend Alfonso to anyone in Sommerville.
