We were so fortunate to be invited to check out the very first Loose Leaf in MA. They press their delicious tea leaves, grown on the mountains of Taiwan!
We got to sample some of their delicious and incredibly unique drinks and were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to customize each drink. We got to try:
💚 Pandan Pina Collision: This drink combined cold pressed pandan, coconut milk and pineapple purée. Oh so, subtly sweet, but so deliciously tropical! Another amazing flavor and texture combo with boba added to it.
đź’ś Purple Roots: A deliciously nostalgic blend of fresh taro and ube. Tasted just like how we grew up having this drink. The subtle sweetness of the ube and combo flavors make this so uniquely tasty!
đź–¤ Black Sesame Ginger Latte: This drink consisted of house-made ginger syrup, oat milk, and black sesame paste. My goodness this was a surprising delight! The ginger gave a nice kick while the black sesame balanced out its spiciness with a rich, earthiness that went well perfectly.
♥️ Strawberry Matcha Latte: This drink combined house-made strawberry compote, chewy boba (this is extra), oat milk and matcha. What a flavor combo! Their matcha is from the volcanic soils of Japan! Give this a vigorous shake, jam your straw in, and you're...
Read moreReview update. The last 4 times I have tried to order here they have been out of most of the menu. 3 of the 4 times they were out of boba (this is over several months, which tells me that this is a consistent problem), which is pretty bad for a boba place. They have no milk tea (hong Kong or Thai), no pandan pina collision, no fantasy berries, as well as others. Clearly they are struggling. Sad because it used to be good
Overall, I love this place. The teas and drinks are amazing. The texture of the boba is perfect. Great non dairy options. Hong Kong Milk tea with coconut milk condensed milk and Pandan Pina Collision are my favorites! My biggest problem is their hours! I’m most likely to want a tea (or to get a coffee for a friend) in the morning but they don’t open until 12! I thought they used to open at 11 but even that is late! I’d love to get a boba tea in...
Read moreI’ve been visiting this boba shop consistently around 4:40 PM for the past few days and have always found their Thai milk tea to be exceptional. However, on Tuesday, I was surprised to find it closed at that hour, a first in my recent experiences. The gentleman there simply stated, “The boba tea was closed,” without offering further explanation. They had the whole area of the store closed just offering poke bowls. It reminded me somewhat of the often-broken McDonald’s ice cream machines—no indication of what was happening, just closed. This was certainly odd and a bit disappointing given the lack of...
