I have been here many times and to the one in Attleboro. Normally I would rate them 5 for 5. However the customer service I received tonight was unfortunate. It is 2 minutes before 8 pm and they had mopped the entire dining room and was preparing to remove the sushi rice from the hot line. Followed by everyone working to stop and stare at me. I was asked 2 questions as soon as I walked in. "Are you here for pick up?" "Did you do an online order?" Making sound like I couldn't do an in store order. Which is weird considering they are open until 9 pm. When I asked for 2 scoops of 3 items, the gentlemen proceeded to say in a tone with some attitude that the extra scoops would cost me an extra .50 cents. Okay no big deal but the way he said it was deeming because I came in and ordered food at 2 minutes of 8. In the multiple times of coming to this establishment I have never been treated in such a way let alone, the mix in items I get are corn, madrain oranges and mangos. When the young lady was ringing me out you could tell the situation made her uncomfortable. The young lady was nice enough to help me but definitely not able to quell my shock to how I was talked to. I will still probably come here and buy pokebowls but I would have a conversation with your staff about pricing and charges. How to approach a customer about upcharges, and how to handle...
Read moreSadly, after going to Pokemoto regularly since its opening, I won’t be going back. The young people working here are fine, and pleasant. Unfortunately the high-turnover in management is what’s hurting this place. The current manager (as of this review) is horrendous! She has a bad attitude coupled with zero customer service skills. Very unfortunate…
I had earned a free bowl, when I went to use it, I was told it needed to be a “signature bowl” and my custom bowl didn’t qualify (even though it had in the past, AND was the same price). So, I came back the next day with my son to try and redeem again, this time ordering the signature bowl. However, my son incorrectly ordered a large. The same manager came rushing up and aggressively said “I told you yesterday it needed to be a regular bowl!” I told her my son ordered the large on accident and we would gladly pay the difference. She replied “it doesn’t work that way!” I asked how we resolve this and her response was “you need to pay for the bowl.” When I asked if they would remake the smaller size or pay the difference, she refused and threw the bowl in the trash and turned away from me.
I’m hopeful someone above her in the organization can use this as a coaching opportunity. But, based on the turnover I’ve seen lately, I’m not...
Read moreFood always tastes fresh. The restaurant always looks clean. Last but not least the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a few suggested poke bowls or you can build your own. They have a ton of choices. White or brown rice. Pick a protein or multiple proteins, choices are chicken, shrimp, salmon, tofu and they now have lobster. You then get a ton of mix in choices from sweet to savory to salty to crunchy. It's like playing Lego's except it's a food bowl, and you get to eat it when you're done. You probably also won't step on it at 3 am and scream and the have to take the dogs out. I digress.. Not only do they have this delicious food, they also have drinks like Boba and a non-dairy treat that tastes just like Dole Whip, but it's not Dole Whip. It's just a non dairy treat that is absolutely delicious! I had banana non-dairy treat mixed with strawberry non-dairy treat and it was amazing! This is a great place! And the food is better than traditional fast food. Both in taste and in nutrition. The type of place you're happy when getting takeout, but you want to tip anyway. Thank you Mr Pokemoto employee that talked me into the non-dairy dessert!...
