Respone to the owner: This was from my last 4 visits, not one isolated incident. I inquired at the restaurant that the Queso was odd tasting, and they informed me they have recently 'thickened' it, so I'm not sure why this was an 'oversight' if it was intentional. Either way, the taste of the Queso has changed to a floury flavor now making the nachos and dishes with Queso bland and not tasty like before. I'm sure it was a financial decision, but will cost customers in the end.

WHAT HAPPENED????? You WERE the best Mexican in Franklin. Now, your queso is off, tastes thick and floury. It ruins the nachos, dip, and other meals. This WAS my go to...I ate here twice a week, and all of sudden the queso tastes so weird all the meals I order taste bland and like flour. Now I have to find another place. This is pretty upsetting. Absolutely horrible service. Took forever to get anyone to even order at the bar!!!!! The White Wine was not even chilled. Didn’t drink it. Point to and Ordered a menu item that stated chicken, steak and shrimp. Waiter said no it’s only one!! Got the manager and he said no it’s all 3. Of course it still came out wrong. Got the manager again and althou he had it corrected…. rather than saying the appropriate response like…. sorry about that because the whole experience was terrible he states just as nasty as he could in my face “Everyone makes mistakes mame”. At this time of the day, the restaurant is not busy. I love that. The food is delicious. Price is good. I had the shrimp chimichanga. He had shrimp and chicken nachos and three chicken tacos from the a la carte menu. Friendly staff and good service. I had the chili poblanos. Tasty vegetarian dish, though I am not a vegetarian. Just wanted to try something new. And as hot and dry as it is, this meal was lighter than what I normally order. Again, forgot to take pictures. As far as I'm concerned, the best queso dip in Franklin. Next time I visit, I'm going to try something new. I love the chimichangas, and after looking through the extensive menu, I come back to them. I not only enjoy the food, but it's a great place for a working lunch. Hence, the reason I forgot to take pictures again....
