Really enjoyed this place the first time. Can’t say the same anymore.
Unfortunately today, we had an online order that was given to another customer in the store with the same first name. This happened quickly - the person walking the food out did not say a last name. The other person opened our food and then got their actual food. The employee took back our food and then closed the container and put it in a new bag. If we hadn’t been there, we would have missed this entire interaction. The food safety integrity is now a concern, I don’t feel good about ordering food from here anymore. Which just sucks because they are definitely good wings!
The staff attitude is also just grossly negative. When we asked for our food to be remade due to being groped by another customer, they were very irritated with us. The line lead (with dark red/brown hair & tattoos, or whoever was corralling food out, unsure of their position) grabbed the bag of food and dramatically threw it into the trash can. They were very irritated that we wanted unmolested food that hadn’t been opened and touched by a stranger (who knows the last time they washed their hands/what their background is). Just an affront to food safety all around.
Never ever repackage food! This is basic food safety 101.
Management - opening a restaurant in a very busy area is tough. I get that, but restaurants that are so flagrant about customer food, service, and quality are destined to fail. And customer service is pitiful at this location. Incentivize employees to share in the success of the demand. Or else you’re going to get recurrences of what happened this evening, with repackaging food and acting irritated at rightful call outs...
