I wish I lived closer to this place!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY A GUY WHO HAD NEVER HAD PAKISTANI FOOD - if you like Cava or Mezeh or chipotle even this is wayyy better
I have been here 4 times now and everytime the food is delicious. If you live in Fredrick and aren’t eating here what are you doing? I’m getting hungry and bummed writing this review knowing I won’t be getting this today.
I live in Annapolis and randomly googled food as I was leaving Harper’s Ferry one day this past summer and this popped up. I had never tried Pakistani food but the pictures online looked amazing and I was thinking I would just get a gyro bowl to be safe. When I got there Hinzi introduced her self and guided me through the menu making a few recommendations.
I ended up trying the combo bowl (gyro and chicken) and the paneer Kati roll? And one other roll, the fries and a mango lassi. I was super hungry after hiking and hadn’t eaten so everything sounded like I needed to try it and WOW I’m glad I did.
The combo bowl was incredible and a safe option for anyone who isn’t feeling too adventurous if you’re not familiar with Pakistani food, I would be hard pressed to believe someone wouldn’t like it. It is so delicious and I love the hints of mint in the white sauce which bring a bright accent to the dish.
The tikka paneer rolls I had never ever heard of let alone had and these were surprising delicious, now when I got I order 2 of these and a combo bowl - I only ever end up here after a day of hiking.
The mango lassi is incredible…order 1 maybe 2 and thank me later.
I now stop by here every time I head out to western MD and everytime I do I get a little sad it isn’t closer to my house.
I would recommend this to anyone in the area or passing through Fredrick
Thank you Hinzi for the recommendations and for providing a delicious easy option while I’m passing through, I can’t wait for when you open a second location closer to me!

Read moreI’m missing something here as I don’t get all these other 5 star reviews. Or they seem to be running a pretty bang on marketing campaign.
We got the chicken karahi but it was honestly meh, pretty oily and the whole thing just didn't blend, like mostly got raw spice without much flavor. I also took one star off for the price to quantity ratio. It was like $17 and was barely enough for 1 person, like really barely. And it didn’t come with anything on the side like rice or roti. They certainly have mid or upscale dine-in restaurant prices, so perhaps it would help to be a little more generous with the portions :) I get that the quality might be better than other more ‘traditional’ pick up joints but jeez 17 bucks, for practically half of a regular entree. we have inflation but not that high, at least not yet lol.
That being said, we’d like to give another shot sometime and try out other stuff. We certainly would like such places to thrive here in Frederick. So don't want to thrash or be super critical unnecessarily, but hoping this would be a very small ding in the otherwise super rave organic reviews they have and catch some eyes as...
